I don't know why the autobot turned this into a good review but ill reiterate this place is AWFUL. They're money hungry and once they get your money you're forgotten. Back to back conferences were happening so they catered to them the entire time. We had to figure out everything on our own! $150 a night for incidentals is ridiculous! I've stayed at way more lavished places and $150 was for the total stay (4 days). The staff didn't explain how to check bags, what times a key was needed for the elevators. The elevators weren't ever fully running either! Also was not told we had to call for housekeeping to clean the room! All the money is going into the lobby upkeep. The rooms are lackluster and extremely basic. This hotel left a bad taste in my mouth about Miami period. I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here. It's purely for status but it doesn't match that. Never again.

After a horrible experience all together - cancellation due to the ongoing tech issues since early September. The hotel charged my credit card despite this being waived that weekend. I called the support team and both the supervisor and rep were unable to transfer me further and or initiate an email capturing my request and documenting it further. I will now have to wait for who know how long to get an update from accounting. This brand is horrible and please take note.

Went down for a weekend and had probably the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. We arrived at 1pm and immediately knew something was wrong when there was a line of people that was at least 50 people long waiting to check in. We “checked in” to be told that the system was down and that they’d call us when the room was ready. By 8pm we still had no call and there were over 200 people waiting to check in. We got 3 rooms and when we finally made it up to them they hadn’t even been turned yet! Dirty rooms, no towels, clumps of hair in the drains and a half empty mini bar that we were sure that we’d be charged for after waiting over 8 hours for check in! When we were finally settled in and explored the hotel the prices were high as you’d expect. On Monday our wait to check out was equally ridiculous and took over 2 hours, causing us to be incredibly close to missing our flights. The worst part of the fiasco was waking up this morning to additional $900 charges on all of our cards for rooms we already paid for! Called guest services and they have an answering service to inform you that they don’t open until 11:30 so awaiting a call back now. Cheaper and more fun to stay right on South Beach and I’d never pay to stay here again. I’ve had better experiences as motels

Bad, hours hours hours in line just to check in worse than Miami customs. No response to my emails, unpaid sums charged and no invoice at check out if you can call check out. Absurd!!! Dirty, crazy people and staff not up to the task of handling that mass of people. I have been to Miami many times and have toured many hotels, this for me cannot be defined as a "hotel", not even a star. MISS IT !!!

Unit had washer and dryer
Yes; scenes at the Fontainebleau were shot in the Le Sable presidential suite, top floor of the Chateau tower, oceanfront.

Sorry you had to go through that When I was there there were moments I felt unsafe as well. Did you call police to file a report?
They definitely have bathrobes in the rooms, and they are super soft.
No; the two story building next to the oasis pool is the Le Cote restaurant; the first floor is the kitchen and serving area, the second floor is open air dining.
A good variety
Unfortunately, not a post office.
Yes; 10% discount on standard rooms (not suites), dependent on availability; book on AAA website or contact hotel directly.
No damage at all.
Unfortunately that's how it is most anywhere in Miami/Miami Beach.
Great question. So was bond and Scarface. Alot of enthuses on Sinatra.
Depending on the service. If the cabana man coming up to you asking if you need new drinks or food then for sure 20-30%. But if you have to look for him to get service then just do the minimum gratuity
Not at all, that was in 2020. Now Miami is open and no blackouts or curfew
They are following guidelines 100%, but that means they had to temporarily discontinue room service and not all restaurants are open. If you want to order food there, they only have 2 places open on property and you have to physically go there. You can't order on the phone for pick up. That's the only inconvenience there, however they are being very safe during these times.
Handsome
Hotel rates are usually available 330 days in advance; please contact the hotel after 30 April 21.
Not in the United States; native American owned hotels sometimes allow it.
A wonderful hotel complex, everything you need for relaxation and entertainment, a sea of restaurants and bars. But nearby, in the same complex, you can order apartments through Airbnb at a lower price and enjoy life and not deny yourself anything. I am delighted with the complex, from the ocean, from the rain that was every day, but so warm and gentle. Everything is super, I want to return for a week again. !!!!
As nobody here is providing an actual answer, here you go Sheri: https://www.fontainebleau.com/careers/index
Tomorrow we check out, I can't comment on it. But we will keep it in mind, thanks !!!
it's a mall and an outdoor park in downtown miami
Four towers; the Versailles is best for conventioneers; the Chateau is the curved original historic tower; the Tresor is the tallest tower, with fantastic views of both the ocean and the Miami skyline, especially at night; the Sorrento is the most exclusive, beach front, poolside, and has the best restaurant.
If your room is the right size you can request an additional one, it is for one place and it has an additional cost.
I do not work for the hotel. Call the front desk of the hotel and ask them. Good day.
Sorry don't understand
Not necesarly. But you have to show your key at entrance. Is a very nice pool with excellent music and atmosphere
The original pool, 1/3/5m diving tower, and the serpentine pool villas were all removed and replaced by the Tresor and Sorrento towers, the new Porte cochere, the island, bowtie, and arkadià pools, and the le cote restaurant.
They tell you USD 40.00 per night and that you can take the vehicle out whenever you want. The final they charged me USD 26.00 per night
Of course they do...contact the hotel directly or online.
5 minutes take uber parking is way too expensive
The convention, yes; the premiere, no: the premiere of Ben-Hur was 11/19/59 at the Lowes state theater in new york city; it might have been a special showing of the 1956 film the ten commandments.
I was charged around $45 a day
Room comes with access to the pools and gym , free guest only adult pool party on weekends, internet , beach chairs . If you stay at the Fontainebleau is because you're there to make it a special time therefore you need to be ready to spend. The hotels has amazing restaurants , LIV night club, Chez Bon Bon and yes is not cheap.
They normally provide free parking, you should look into what package you have.
30-45 minutes; the shuttle service can be included with your cruise package; see your agent.
The pool cabanas are the way around being a guest; rates range from $200-$1000 a day depending on how close you want to be to the DJ at the arkadia pool, or the baking throng near the oasis or bowtie pools: contact the hotel directly or online and book cabana reservations in advance.
Yes and it's not cheap. There may be other parking options nearby, but it's probably better to take a ride service instead if you can.
I have no answer to your question! I do not work there.sorry.
Fontainebleau operates the marina directly across the street.
Enterprise rent a car has a branch inside the hotel.
I would call and ask the hotel. rooms very depending on price.
If your referring to the LIV nightclub, the cover charge still applies; FB hotel guests do get bumped to the front of the line, if properly dressed.
As a rule of thumb with this hotel, if the question begins with "Does the Fountainbleau offer free....", the answer is more than likely no. They nickel and dime you to death- all the way to $12 bottles of water in your room, no coffee makers in the rooms, and you can't use the fridges without paying.
