I loved this little loop! It can be a little confusing at times with the routes, but the views are great! They have benches at a lot of the view points too! We saw one rattlesnake, two deer, and one bear! We finished in 2 and 1/2 days! Guess my hiker legs are stronger than I thought!

Naval run is another option.
According to the Black Forest Trail Map it does not show any type of Pennsylvania state game lands along the trail that are accessible for hunting I am not sure about the state forest wild areas and or natural areas along the trail that you can hunt your best bet would be to contact the Tiadaghtonstate forest district office in Waterville Pennsylvania. 570-753-5409 Ask for Wendy
