To find this cave on the Southern Plateau Loop, just find the shelter on the South of the trail right on the mark for the cave on google maps, then head off the trail to your left. It is tucked away on the left no more than 60ft from the trail shelter. It's a tight fit for adults to fit in the cave and a climb up into it of 3 feet or so. Weird paintings, also has quarters jammed in the cracks of the cave. The kids were trying to remove them with no luck. It's not really worthy of being an attraction, but it is a great place to distract the kids, stop and picnic, whilst they are hiking several miles.

A little tricky to find but neat once you find it.

They make you pay a fee to get in and it isn't that great anyway. My recommendation would be to find one of the multiple other places around here because parks like this should be free for everyone.

I wouldn’t really call it a cave, it’s not something you are going to walk into. It’s more of a cool grotto in which some talented people spent lots of time painting. There are no signs pointing how to get there. You take a small trail off from a sitting shed nearby to find it.

That's a great question. I walked up and down the trail and below the rock face where this marker is for an hour. Found many rock openings but nothing that could be called a cave. Let alone painted.
