A bit of an art deco inspired dream, the main throughway of Burlington, VT offers loads of privately-owned shops that cater to almost every desire. From fashions to ice cream to pubs and eateries. Live music plays here quite frequently and can be heard droning up and down the street. There are usually many people during the busy hours, but not enough to feel uncomfortable. One end of the street hold the beautiful church the street is so named for, while the other end holds the main government buildings. There is a slope to it when you head toward the government side of things, but not terribly bad, even for a big guy with crotchety knees. But the art is mainly why I enjoyed it so much, as much of it is inspired and inspiring. While in Burlington, you'd be remiss if you didn't visit this amazing place!

5.14.22 If you enjoy people watching, this is the place. I'm not an attention getter so was a bit surprised by the number of freaks and people dressed in such ways that you just had to stare. There's a time and place for everything so if you have little kids with you, be prepared to see just about anything. On the positive, there are great food venues, music, good energy, and the streets were clean.

Beautiful in the winter. Full of wonderful shops, friendly people, things to do. Highly recommend

An extremely thriving area for shopping and food. The streets are clean and festive. My experience involved just window shopping and buying chocolates. Getting food and walking down to the lake. You can park at the university parking deck for a cheap cost than the other lots I think. Overall it was a great city center to visit.

Their are handicapped spots on side streets and there is a parking garage
Metered parking is free. I'm not sure about the garage.
No mall, no Santa. Check University Mall
Yes. Beautiful place but go accompanied. There are enough homeless there.
I don't know exactly what goes on for activities. But there is always something going on and it's usually good
Yes every Saturday
Consider Church Street a much more spacious pedestrian only street when compared to Bourbon Street in New Orleans. The focus of Church Street is primarily in the summer when community events, farmers markets, and the acclaimed Jazz Festival occurs every year.
I don't know anything about it.
There used to be plenty of restrooms in the mall, but since they renovated, the only one left is in Starbucks. It's directly on your left when you enter the mall from Church st. No purchase required to use it, but be prepared for a decent line and wait time.
Yes they are and busy
Yes there are. Try not using the 8104 spots that would only allow you to renew your parking time to a maximum of 30 min vs the 8101 ones.
You can the in lœk
To rent? I'm honestly not sure. I imagine it wouldn't be to difficult to find a place, although I wouldn't know where to look. Sorry.
Yes some of the restaurants are open
That's Bob the rock. He has a brother but they took him away.
Between 5-8 seem to be the average this time of year. Most sores have their own, and its usuly posted to their website. "Winter" hours start soon, and close earlier.
