The lack of recruiting capacity in the US military is not due to a lack of economic incentives or due to poor profits, the lack of recruiting capacity is due in part to the mismanagement of MEPS. Miami MEPS has one of the lowest scores in the entire United States, the staff is rude, uneducated, they treat applicants poorly and this makes many not want to go back for medical exams. DOD must seriously address these issues in almost all MEPS.

Lets be clear, MEPs is not an amusement park, is a place where many dreams are crushed and where many of us go through without a sweat. If you want to have a great experience just follow the guidelines given by the staff and by your recruiter. Lets keep in mind these individuals are purpose drive and are not working there to add friends in their social media. Be respectful, dress accordingly (business casual) if you don’t know what that is google it.
