Wonderful first appointment for my teenage daughter today with Alvin Martin. I went without her this time, so they can hear from the parent first. He was professional yet had a great sense of humor, very throughout with getting to the root of why my daughter may need some therapy. Definitely can tell he's been doing this awhile and that he's not doing it for the money, but to actually help people. I can see my daughter loving it here. Can't wait till her first vist.

I have been attempting to make an appointment with anyone here for over a month now. The first time I called in, I was told I needed a referral. I got the referral, and called back a week later to find out they never received the referral. Finally, get the referral straight, and two weeks later, still no appointment. I called back today, and it's I am still trying to get you set up with a counselor. At this point, no, thank you. I would have appreciated the honest information several weeks ago if they did not have enough staff to accommodate one more patient. I could have been looking elsewhere. I have been in therapy on and off for well over twenty years and have never seen a mental health facility conduct business in such a manner. As a mental health facility, they should know the importance of mental health. It should not take nearly a month to get an appointment to be seen.

Please email our offfice.

Could a spouse create a list of topics for the therapist to discuss with the spouse (client of the therapist)?

What would be even better? Ask your spouse if you can join for a session and then read from the list in front of the client.
