Drove here with my wife from Dayton and shopped for shoes, there were many people looking at the selections. Waited about fifteen minutes before we received assistance. The store is well kept and the staff were friendly. It was busy on Saturday afternoon so I would suggest going on a weekday.

Experience was okay at no thanks to the employees Learned a lot from another costumer shopping in same section until rudely interrupted by a female employee aggressively flirting with my boyfriend and other costumer. Very uncomfortable. I couldn’t help but think it was because i was Hispanic female in non outdoorsy gear… and she blatantly ignored me and my questions but happily helped the guys. Girl with undercut and ponytail- fix your attitude and demeanor.

Stopped at REI on a road trip to Florida and it was the first time I’ve been there. I was pleasantly surprised to see such a clean and well stocked store. I found everything I needed and more!

Chris in the shoe department was immensely helpful and knowledgeable. I scored some gently used hiking shoes in the garage sale section and Chris showed me how to tie them properly and discussed things like inserts and socks with me while managing to juggle 3-4 other customer's needs. Will definitely be back!
