Im 51 and it was my first time riding the amtrak. Did not know what to expect! Cool cozy feel with great employees that make the ride more enjoyable! From the cafe to the guy checking for tickets! I will tell you this! Bring a jacket or throw blanket in summer monyhs its freezing on the train.

I have ticket reservation from Newport News, VA to Providence, RI, I have visual handicap. Should the ticket state that or is it good enough to tell the agent on board the train?

There are no id requirements for Amtrak. So long as you have valid tickets and are masked, youre good.

You can park long term and the police ride by. No assistance until around 0700 or 0730 am.
