Peace and quiet. Take a walk to the pond. The off season is the best season! Camping in season is nice, too close to a traveled dirt road through the forest though.

I visited this campground for the first time over the weekend and it was not exactly what I expected. While the forest itself is beautiful and the access to trails is convenient, our campsite itself was less than desirable. You could look up and stare at your neighbors from all sides, we had to practically walk through another person's campsite to get to the bathroom and our site had a road that runs through the forest directly behind it that cars were speeding down all day/some of the night. If you are a hiker looking for a spot to rest your head, then this place is for you. But if you are like me and go camping to get away from people, you might want to try somewhere else. Overall, the lack of privacy is really my biggest complaint.
