Harnett County schools are supposed to have a zero policy for bullying but it seems that only the kids that get bullied are the ones who get punished because they are different, not in the click, or are the wrong color, or economic class. The bullies keep kids afraid to say what they see because of retaliation for reporting to the principles or teachers. Snitches get stitches.... It's a shame that's what school has become, a place of fear, torture and retaliation for being different.

The worst school district on the planet. Harnett Middle School Principal, Mrs. Black, allowed a coach to tell my son he’d “snatch him up” FOR CLAPPING and then told my child that he was a threat to the teacher because of the clapping! Clapping because he made the football team the coach (clearly who has ptsd) had the nerve to say he felt threatened and attacked. Absolute clowns

Wish they had a rating system for administration & Teachers separately…. The Administration staff are awesome @ Overhills elementary School nothing but praises for them. Great job & thanks for being there for the students & preparing them for the future. As you know there’s always one in the group who has to be front & center in a bad way, teacher that is, Mrs. Augustus 5th grade hut. I would not wish any student to be in her class until she completes a course on proper Etiquette in treatment of students & Has learned that education is something you should have passion about. My granddaughter was aware of things being done incorrectly & the use of inappropriate language but was afraid to have it addressed because she would have to deal with the fall out,,,, why should a 5th grader be put in that position? I urge parents please talk to you child & stay on top of what’s going on in class because everyone who has a teaching position isn’t always worthy to have that Title. A Grandmother who believes in Karma!
