Wonderful hospital, kind people, great doctors and nurses, totally professional in every way!!
jirouke is shookth
I wouldn't even send my worst enemy to this place, the way they treated me as an autistic person in the ER broke me. I don't feel okay, at all. It's not about the the 8 hours i spent in horrible pain, the fact there aren't any beds. I can wait, I can understand nurses and doctors work hard jobs. But what i can't stand for is not being treated like a human being, being talked down to. Being told "well some people sit in here for 20 hours so no idea i would just leave" by someone when asked when i would see anyone. empathy. Teach your staff it. I'm leaving the hospital will no clue what's wrong with me, The pain, sickness, dizziness, unable to focus vision is all still there but i rather suffer and possibly die in my home then spend another minute in this hell. i am not even a human being worthy of anything. besides one nurse who was kind i truly would rather never be in that hell again

I will give the hospital just a 3 out of 5 rating but I will give the neurosurgeon a 5 plus. Dr Stacey Quintero Wolfe is a highly skilled and knowledgeable surgeon who listens carefully to her patient, explains fully and is so well qualified. It might be a wait to see her but we’ll worth it.

Yes
Yes or ask at valet at the front even calling ahead cab get you one right out of the car. Also, parking on parking deck b on orange level there are usually wheelchairs there or people there assisting people into wheelchairs
Open visitation until 9p.m after 9p.m you have to check in with security. No children under 12 are allowed at this time
Many places in and around the hospital. Inside: Chick fila, Subway, Starbucks, and a cafeteria. Outside Panera, several and several other cafeterias and restaurants
If you arrive at 8am you will be fine. They also have labs in the cancer cancer 3 rd floor open at 7

Good luck in finding the doctor you need. I hope all will go well for you.
Depends on what area he needs looked at. Mine was about 3 weeks for a knee. No straight up answer, sorry. They will check for pills brcause they have to.
The 800 number is on your bill.
You have to contact the hospital
As far as I know, there is no Catholic affiliation at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. None that I have heard of as an employee, at least.
Took my client for a procedure and the staff was amazing!!!
Yes, right there in the same area, meaning if there are any issues, you don’t have your baby sent away to another hospital.
I don't speak Spanish
You need to call the main hospital number and ask for "Patient Financial Services". They can help guide you.
With your visitors badge, parking is free.
Im not sure. When you check in the people at the information desk they will let you know.
Only one escort for an adult and two for child.
Primary Care Physician/Provider
The hospital is always neat and clean. Have been going there for years and been a patient there too and my experiences were very very good. Only had one bad experience there and it was resolved.
That's a good question. I haven't seen them myself. But they shouldn't be allowed to
Call and ask.
Call directory ahead of time and ask for medical records. Should do it.
Mainly because of lack of room, and safety. They don't need 10 people in a small treatment room when they are trying to help a loved one. And before you say anything, I have seen it, and people don't have respect for the patients next to them. I'm not trying to be negative towards you, but do you want a bunch of people in the room next to you being loud and disreputable if you were sick enough to be in the hospital.
That is something I would think you need to start with your PCP about. Or you can always call the main desk and inquire.
My son had cancer and went there. After every treatment I tool him for a walk to smoke something and today he is cancer free. So it don't really matter where you go. It matters what you do also.
I would imagine that they would have the knowledge and capabilities to diagnose and provide care for polymyositis.
They have bike racks at ED and we have motorcycle parking as well on campus
No. That would be against the law.
Yes and no
Not sure, but your insurance provider could request a referral for you
You need patients name and call hospital and ask for theme
Call the main number. It will be an operator that can direct your call
Wake Forest Baptist has a Management team in place.
Sepsis Inflammation Lab... Funny you say that... I was there this time last year (Oct 6th - Nov 11th) came home, and was back in there little over a week later until they sent me home again (Nov 30th)... I was home less than 8 hours, and had to get Ambulance, and go to the ER, and told I had Septis (Dec 1st - Dec 31st)... WFBH should have known that before they sent me home...
Yes. Brenner Children's Hospital has an ER specifically for kids. Brenner's is connected to the main hospital (WFBMC)but you can park & go in the ER without going through the main hospital. They have valet also & wait time is usually not long.
I would call the hospital back, and write a certified complaints complaint, to the medical review board, and if that doesn't help,...call the BBC.. There's a website for "Free legal advice, if u aren't satisfied, as well. Good luck, hope you get it taken care of..!?
You would need to contact WFBMC dept of orthopedic surgery. Certainly not a question to expect an answer to on the internet.
Check the directly
Ask your primary physician to refer you to a pain clinic. They have the capability to help you. Botox injections in the head has been a great success for migraines and there is medication available that will decrease the chances of having a migraine.
The new updated version if not mistaken I guess so...
Yes have the friend to have a referral sent to them . And they will be glad to help you. You can also go to their website and call them to find out any other information that you may need. They have been taking care of my mother. And have done an excellent job of providing outstanding care
If I'm understanding you correctly, it should be on the 4th floor.
Dr.Amy McMichael is an excellent Dermatologist.
Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is a great facility, they care for all ages, the main campus has a roof top playground, they have some of the best doctors, and they want the patient involved in their care.
I don't know because I was a patient and never seen gift shop.
You'd best learn by contacting them.
Great cree
Fertility doctor and Medicaid won't cover it
Call and follow the prompts to the appt line
Definitely call Patient Relations or higher up. No patient should ever be spoken that way nor treated unfairly. Im sorry that you went through that.
NOT in the adult ED and 12 and under, No, during flu season in the whole hospital!!
Hawthorne Inn, I am a patient at Wake Forest, I stayed there last year and it was great. I really enjoyed the shuttle back and forth.
SECU HOUSE
You need a referral from your regular dr. If you don't have one, go to the e.r. with complaints of your pain and explain you don't have one and they will refer you to nuvant which is an aggregation and they won't take you (I've experienced ) if no insurance and you will get upset like I did so just keep going to the ER. If you don't have any insurance, see if the administration can help which is another bitter situation. They have funds but are stingy. Social services will help IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN AND I don't. I get a ss at a low income and have been homeless. Apply for social security. They will turn you away the 1st time. Turn to determin lawyer but don't wait like I did and have to fill out all the paperwork AGAIN. I don't know what your situation is but my Dr said if you don't have money, keep going to the er. I get depressed. I didn't know to keep going to er and it helps get your disability. I felt like Baptist didn't care unless cancer. Nuvant is asses.all money.
They take most insurances including medicare and medicade
That is the worst hospital to get info however check your email because people in general are getting really lazy about your concerns. Perhaps you can try administration office and don't take NO FOR AN ANSWER AND it's a shame these days they don't care of your care. So many are so disappointed with this hospital. Computers are not their expertise and so many blame them when it's a person puts in the wrong information. They have that I was 9 when I had tb. It was 1993 and in my 30s! So they aren't thinking about you or any patients accept having fun behind desks, what's to eat and time to go home. Check that email.
They have a weight management program
Speak with administration staff. Drs should be able to put in a Transfer request? This is what we did from VA to Wake Forest.
Yes. This hospital has an awesome cancer center. I had head and neck surgery with chemoradiation and it was all set up for me. I came from VA for my cancer surgery.
I’ve had dental surgery there. Regular dentist care is done by an outside service. Calling the central number should get you connected either way.
