I love Carrigan Farms in general. However, apple picking in 2022 is not worth it. Most apples are rotting on the tree. The ones that aren’t are just not very good. If you want the experience for your kiddos it’s great. If you want apples, head to the mountains. This orchard is not worth the entrance fee.

What a fun place for the family. The hay ride and picking apples was fun. The petting zoo was very small but the animals were cute and friendly. It is a beautiful setting and well worth the trip. The one improvement would be to have the check in process go more quickly. It was long and hot. Thus the loss of one star. Also, allow credit card purchases. I think they would sell a lot more products if they did.

Been here a couple times and we always had fun! Will be back next season for sure

Hidden gem. Great place for a large group. Be sure to reserve a day and time slot. There are many different platforms to jump off. There's even a rope swing which was really fun. They have shelters with tables and a Sandy area with a volleyball net. Really great spot for a summer day.

No
Your $5 deposit becomes a $5 food voucher. Much more convenient to just buy there.
Not that I saw. Did see apples and that's why we went. Love NC apples
Didn't see any when we were there.
They did have some food available for about 1 1/2 hours. You order then get the food at a pick up window. Picnic tables are down the path, next to the right side of the swimming area. I got a chicken sandwich and fruit cup, The sandwich was ok. The fruit was delicious. Our grandson loved the fries.
They do have a volleyball net in the back , maybe they can do that? They also had a fire pit going and was doing smores you could buy and make not sure how often they do that.
Generally around April 28 until May 25 but it varies from year to year. CarriganFarms.com has all the dates and times. Thanks
And 2 years and younger is free but no pumpkin. Gourds were outrageously priced at $1 and $2+ each. Donuts $1.50 or 6 for $8 and cider $8 for a gallon. Other pumpkins out front sold by the pound.
I don't think they do. Didn't see any dogs when we went.
I believe you do as their would be no way to track.
You need to make a reservation on their website. It's a $5 deposit for each person over age of 2, then you pay either $15 or $20 when you get there (depending on day/time you go). When you get there your get your $5 deposit back in a food voucher to use at their kitchen for food/non-alcoholic drink.
Hi Jxk, The high jump platform is at minimum 16 feet. It does become more of a jump if we have a dry summer and the water level goes down. Right now (6/23/20) its at 16 feet. Thanks
There is a produce stand with pumpkins, gourds and squash for sale during the month of October.
They usually sell yummy Apple Cider!
We are open July 4, 2019 for swimming from 10am until 3pm. Thanks
Usually They open at 10:00 AM on Sunday 😊
As per the website, strawberry picking has ended for 2019
At this time I do not know.
Yes it does. Thanks for asking.
Today had a swimmer that took the swim test and felt a bit light headed and short of breath after his test, so in an abundance of caution we let EMS personnel check him out. It turns out he was A-OK! but thanks for asking!
During the times we are open for open swim, you can go fishing in the two farm ponds. Cost is $15 per person. Its catch and release, so you cannot keep the fish. Thanks
Hi Landon, As long as we can see within our record keeping that you have previously passed then you should not need to re-take the test. Thanks!
Hi Kristina, If you are referring to open swim, its $15 per person, per day. Thanks
No... they are booked pretty well. You would need to call and see when they have open times. Even for a pop up one... they have different events all year long
Yes we do. Today is 5/4/18 and we have a lot ripe today. Thanks
I would assume so. It is all outdoors
