The Senior Center is fabulous. I had my taxes done by the AARP folks. They entered the wrong amount for the IRS to withdraw. I know people make mistakes. I understand that. My dismay was in the fact that I could'nt get in touch with the person in charge of the tax-aide. I was told it will be 3 weeks before she would call me. I didnt know where the mistake was made if I owed more or less. She finally did call me and apologized for the error, assured me if I was going to get a penalty she would pay for it. Im not going back next year to them.

From February through April the AARP Tax Aide Program will have tax Aide Counselors at South Iredell Senior Center to assist individuals in filing their taxes. Anyone interested in receiving this service is asked to call the senior center 704-662-3337.
No there is no food give away service here. You want to go to the Christian mission or FeedNC.
I'm not sure they made my second appointment at the same time as my first very nice people well organized
Yes I work there. It's for disabled, low income and for seniors You Don't Have to be a AARP member to have them done

Assistive devices such as walkers, bath benches, wheelchairs, etc. are available through South Iredell Senior Center’s loan closet. If you are in need of an item or know of someone who is, please check with the center for a listing of items available to be loaned.
