Excellent service & completely professional but still has a friendly demeanor.

This is absolutely a wonderful place to get your animal either spayed or neutered and for them to get their yearly vaccinations. I know my pet is in great hands. I love the fact that it is a no-kill shelter. The staff here is absolutely wonderful!!

I cannot say enough about this center for spay/ neuter. I've had 3 cats taken care of so far. Everyone has healed nicely without any sign of complications. Staff has answered all my questions at dropp off and spent time answering more questions at pick up. My dog is scheduled for a spay this fall as well, if her weight stays low enough for a large breed. I'm happy we discovered this clinic. I will be bringing our pets back for additional things at needed. Thanks for all the support and care you offer, team. You truly have a heart for pets.

These guys are super reliable. I trust them to do a great job whenever I give them a call.

Charge was reduced to $65 from $80. There was a discount of some kind. You can schedule svc online via their site.
They have a discount vaccination with spay/neuter, but there are signs all over for vaccine sites; several pet food stores have scheduled vaccine clinics or you can call Pawmetto or Petsinc for low cost vaccines.
No more than 35 dollars... I think cats are cheaper but not sure...
I know what you're about. When I called they were short, but when I went out there, they were fine. Not sure who it is but, maybe, they're better working face to face than on the phone... or, it's a tactic to get people to come out and look at the animals.... instead of asking questions over the phone. .....maybe
I know you can get free spaying and neuter service if you are a richland county resident. There are many mobile vet services listed that may be affordable if they don't. I would suggest calling them and asking if they have immunization services for lower income folks.
Call the Humane society, I believe it is determined by the dogs weight..GLAD you decided to give a home !
Yes I am lam ederlylady that needs answer pupie
With photo ID showing you reside in richland County u can get a voucher @ the shelter off shop road. As long as the dog weighs less than 85lbs they will do it
You can do community service work and help the kennel out they’re extremely understaffed and always could use help and extremely overpopulated as far as animals
The Humane Society is a spay/neuter organization. They don't adopt out animals. They investigate cruelty cases and try to help the public manage the population. The Columbia Animal Shelter is the organization that adopts pets.
Usually $35 sometimes they have specials though like on cinco de mayo last year we got a cat for $5
The SPCA goes by how much the animal weights and whether male or female. I had my male dog neutered and was given his shots about 75.00. He weights a little over 5 lbs. They did an excellent job with him. I would call them for more information.
4or 5 months
The Humane Society on shop road might take him.
They are mainly a low cost spay/neuter service but also offer a few other things at a reasonable cost. What they do is is an amazing thing for the community.
Yes, it will make your appointment wait shorter, please register online at www.humanesc.org/register See you soon!
The Humane Society is solely a spay, neuter and vaccine clinic. We do not have a shelter at our organization. If you'd like to adopt a pet, please check out your local shelter. Columbia Animal Services is a great one in Columbia!
Susie, great question! Dewormer is charged by weight, but because the puppy is so small, it would most likely be no more than $5. Right now, the only vaccine your puppy is able to get at 4 months old is the DA2PP (distemper), which is $10. It is a booster vaccine so you will need to get the second and third doses 3-4 weeks apart from eachother. For more pricing details, please go to our website at humanesc.org. Thank you!
Our website is www.humanesc.org/regsiter to schedule all appointments!
No, we do not euthanize any animals at our clinic. Please see a regular vet for to evaluate end of life treatment.
This would be a question for the shop or bluff road location. This is a clinic that does preventative and spay neuter surgeries.
Heather, both Rabies and Distemper vaccinations are required before we can spay/neuter your pet. If you've already gotten your pet vaccinated, we would need to see records of the shots. If not, we would be glad to do so for 10$ each. Hope this helps!
Jessica, please contact our clinic at 803-783-1267, there is a menu option for TNR-Ferals, so that you can speak to someone about it. If no one answers, please leave a voicemail and we will return your call. We do discount for spaying/neutering of feral cats and depending on where you live, there may be a voucher available for a free spay or neuter, so give us a call!
Check them out on Google or Facebook. There should be an answer or phone # to call. Glad U R a pet lover
Call them and ask about a voucher for the spading. It's free. Shots are half off. I just had my cat done at the humane society.
No they don't...its already a huge expense to keep them as it is
I am pretty sure you can, they have a place on the out side to leave dogs and cats as long as they have food and water for the weekend
Yes. They will take the dog back.Good Luck.
It's not by weight it's by age and that is 8 weeks old and older
They have very Reasonable prices for Spay and neuter. They give Rabies and other shots. They are very friendly! S. Quigley Lexington, South Carolina
They dont and neither does the county. Call Sunset Animal Clinic
They have many special days, but the amount you pay is minimal already. I paid 17.76 one year for my dog on July 4th, Independence Day.
City of Columbia animal control or Richland county animal control
35.00 to 55.00
Probably, because they have a lot of animals in the shelter to do procedures on as well.
Personally, I would unhook her & keep her or take her somewhere safe where she's gonna be shown love & affection. From what u say, they probably won't notice for a while. Good Luck! It sounds as if you'd make a great doggie mom because u know exactly what she needs.
Not sure about humane society but i went to the Lexington county pound and put down a old dog and they didn't charge
8-11am. Call before you go though. Not certain if those hours are everyday.
They use to but I would call first.
Yes you can.
What do you mean?
To the humane society off shop road
They will neuter the dog before releasing it and you will have to pay for it
Depends on male or female, their age, plus $18 for shots. Male=$30+18 (shots). I paid additional go home pain medication for $6.
Anywhere from $40-$70 depending on the extras. I had mine microchipped and given extra pain med for home plus immunizations. I spent around $70.
You should post him on Facebook or any associated apps. To ensure he actually goes to a good home!
They are a rescue shelter. They typically have mixed breeds unless a specific breed is brought in or picked up from the street. Shelter pets are deserving of a home regardless of breed.
They will check the cat for free but also give it immunisations and spay or neuter but you have to pay $35 when everything is complete and you come back to pick it up
127 Humane Lane Columbia, SC 29209 (803) 776-PETS (7387) Call the number above Monday morning for details, if you want vaccinations they are on a walk-in basis and they start fairly early in the morning, I think you have to be there before 10 a.m.
I would love to take him
Are you still looking for a small dog?
I would call the SPCA and see what they can do.
Go to 121 Humane Ln, on shop road in Columbia. That's a no kill shelter.
It is best to go to the website. I think they try to keep all the pets on there
Call The Animal Mission, the private non-profit that operstes the voucher program at 776-PETS or go to the city shelter in person. Driver's license/proof of Richland County residence is usually required. Best to call first as sometimes vouchers are not available. If you are low-income you may qualify for No More Homeless Pets program, but a co-pay is required.
You can call your local police department, who eventually will call animal control, unless you know how to contact your local animal control directly!
Depends on male or female and they also have to have a copy of shot record, if you don't have any and it is a stray they will give it shots also. With fixing and shots is around 54.00 for everything. They do a really good job.
I believe the animals are receiving a lot of help. The staff I worked with to adopt my dog was great.
It was 45 when I did mine in Nov i believe. You can go to there website an sign up. It also gives you all the information and they have a clinic vet vehicle that goes around once a month you can book to that also. They are very nice to talk to and will call u the day before.
We operate a Spay and Neuter Clinic. We do not operate a shelter and do not have a foster care program. Call us and we can direct you to the appropriate agency.
Yes. Call for priced and other info
