Still a great cause but this store has lost it's joy. It's become cluttered/disorganized and the prices have gone way up. More than retail in a lot of cases. Everyone that volunteered was friendly and knew your name. It now seems super stressful and long lines to check out. It's really lost it's joy and fun

Child Abuse Prevention Association. All proceeds from the store support our Open Arms Children's Home and other CAPA programming.
I apologize for any inconvenience. We prefer to have donations no later than one hour before we close so by 4 pm Monday through Friday and 2 pm on Saturday. Our staff and volunteers need time to process the donations and store them out of the elements before they leave for the day.

I'm so sorry you had a poor experience today. Customers can claim large items that won't fit in the basket or buggy before they check out. Capas closet employees and Volunteers are committed to giving everyone a great shopping experience. Please keep on mind all of this is for the Children!!!
