Changing my review from a 3 star to a 1 star. Been living here for a year now and the situation did not get better. Amenities not working, package thefts, lease offers changing without notice and a plethora of other issues. Wouldn't recommend this place unfortunately. Update Jul 8th 2022: Management gets worse everyday. No point discussing anything. Gym equipment and the AC has not been functional for 6 months now. Pool and the Hot Tub have not been cleaned and the jets are not functional.

Made an appointment for 4:30 to tour the building today. No way to contact the leasing office via the intercom outside the building because it just sends you to an automated message, so we were just standing there for 15 minutes while calling the leasing office, which just sent us to Grey Star. The woman I spoke with said she had no way to contact the leasing office other than “sending them a message” and maybe someone would come and get us or maybe not. We should have left then. Finally a resident let us in. No one was even inside the leasing office once we were finally able to get to it. We called the number I was provided with in the email and someone from Next on Lex answered and said he didn’t understand why it was directing to him. He said he would try to get someone’s attention remotely but no one ever came. Finally we decided we were going to leave and my husband called the number one last time but Next on Lex answered again and said we wouldn’t be able to tour because everyone in the leasing office at Brio had probably already gone home today. I feel bad for the people who live in this building. What an absolute mess they must be dealing with.

When we first moved to Brio, everything was wonderful. It was once an impeccably maintained community with a friendly, attentive office staff who went above and beyond to make sure residents felt good about living here. Sadly, that all became a thing of the past when our building was purchased by Greystar. A few different situations have made our experience here shift from a positive to a negative. 1. It now takes weeks, sometimes months to get any issues or maintenance requests resolved. The staff is routinely unresponsive to emails and it is clear that they could care less about the people who live here. 2. The amount of theft that takes place in the mailroom is astounding. I have discussed this issue with various neighbors and we are all fed up. My spouse and I will no longer ship anything of value here because countless packages of ours have been stolen. During the holidays, peoples packages were torn open and scattered about like a tornado had ripped through the mailroom. The new management made promises to install more Parcel Pending lockers and cameras for security but we have yet to see them. The Parcel Pending locker we have now has been beeping incessantly for months and they have yet to have it fixed. 3. The next ongoing issue is with the “Zen Garden”. This was once a courtyard garden with a wide variety of beautiful trees and foilage that was home to many different kinds of birds. Since the new management has taken over, we have sadly watched all of the trees and plants die one by one due to lack of care and watering. Now the empty planters, that once housed mature trees are overgrown with weeds. The trees that used to provide enough privacy so all residents that border the garden could enjoy being on their patios without neighbors peering in, are now all gone. Now there’s zero privacy when we want to use our outdoor space. What’s left of the “Zen Garden” is now used as an off-leash dog park, where inconsiderate residents allow their dogs to urinate all over and keep the grounds smelling of pee and attracting tons of flies. When we have to walk through the garden, it always smells like a unkempt kennel. It’s disgusting. My advice: DO NOT rent an apartment here. Loud trains, and stinky nights due to the neighboring water recycling plant— just don’t do it. It’s gone way downhill and we are very much looking forward to our lease’s end. Oh! One last thing—they recently sent a community wide email on a Friday evening announcing that there will no longer be an office staff—effective the following Tuesday. Barely any warning at all. It’s honestly on brand for them though— poor management through and through.

READ BEFORE MOVING HERE. We moved into this building a year ago and it was amazing, but that has quickly changed with the new management that took over the building. The front office has little to no understanding of customer service and it's nearly impossible to get a response from them unless you hound them. Most of the time they are not even in the office so you cannot resolve issues in person. My biggest issue as of late is that my lease expired at the end of October and I had been reaching out multiple times beforehand to renew my lease with the front office. No response. Now my lease has expired and they are charging me a ridiculous amount for a month to month lease (which I never wanted) alongside random unexplainable charges – I've tried calling, emailing, etc and I keep getting tossed to people who cannot directly resolve my issue. They even went as far to post a delinquency notice on my door for not paying their incorrect amount of rent LOL despite me asking to get this resolved weeks ago. It seems like no one on the management side is communicating with each other. They do not value or respect their tenants here. EDIT: The customer service response to my review is so ridiculous and cookie cutter. Don't believe it and I encourage you all to read similar reviews to mine. Little has been done to improve our experience here. Additionally, the amount of package thefts we have at this "luxury" apartment is absolutely insane. We no longer send packages here because they will be stolen. Around Christmas, packages were ripped open everywhere!!! Management has done nothing to resolve this, other than having the front office team store packages in their office. BUT they don't tell residents when they have the packages in the office. And they are visibly annoyed when you ask them if they have any of your packages. I have had multiple packages that I assumed were lost or stolen, only to find out the office team had been hiding them in the front office FOR MONTHS. Do yourself a favor and do not rent from this overpriced garbage
