The day we were supposed to move in, our apartment wasn't even close to being ready. In fact, it was going to be at least a week before it was going to be in any condition to move in. We were never made aware of this until we had a u-haul truck loaded and ready to move in. Jada, the Assistant Manager, and at the desk that morning was never told by the previous management that they never made us aware of the delay. Jada found another unit for us. Although it wasn't quite ready, Jose and his crew worked incredibly hard to make sure we had an apartment by late afternoon. We appreciate Jada and Jose for getting us into a comparable apartment as quickly as possible.

If I could give zero stars that is what I would give based on my recent experience with this company. I was to be a future tenant, with a SIGNED lease. My lease had been signed for nearly a month, when only 8 days prior to when I should be moving in, I get a call from someone there named Jenna that "my apartment is NOT available" and there was an error on their end, as they had incorrectly listed the unit I signed my lease for. At no time did anyone ever apologize for this huge oversight, and no one would return my calls or emails to have them put this matter in writing either. I have filed a complaint with the Department of Consumer Affairs. Eight days prior to my schedule move in with my signed lease and they were only finding out this oversight/error at that time? It leads me to seriously wonder what else is being overlooked at this property. Don't move here, you can do better.

I’ve lived here for over 3 and 1/2 years now. Within the last year, and new management this place has gone extremely downhill. I do not recommend The Preserve to anyone, try Parc or Legends. Leasing office employees never answer phone, you continuously have to physically go into the office and even then nothing will get done in a timely manner. My AC was out for over three weeks in July, it’s 82 degrees all day, I have called three times, and physically spoke to an employee three times as well. I just get terrible excuses as to why it’s not done yet, I had to contact legal assistance to have a letter sent in order to get my AC looked at. I am not the only tenant experiencing these issues here. It’s not just AC, any other work request you submit do not get handled in a timely manner, but if you drive around you’ll always see the maintenance men riding around in golf carts. The Preserve will claim they are backed up with maintenance, however do not communicate with any of the tenants to let you know it might be a while, extremely unprofessional in my opinion. I shouldn’t have to come to the office or call. You can’t park in certain areas because those spots are infested with Ants and over night they will be in your vehicle. Walking up the stairwell there are dozens of cocoon like bugs covering the walls and it’s unattractive. Noise complaint? The rental office will say, we can move you then in the same sentence say your rent will go up doing so. The courtesy officer won’t do anything either. It sounds like WWE Wrestling upstairs from 705am til almost 9pm, my doors rattle, my cups clink in the cupboards, and I can’t sleep in on my days off. The rental office just says make a police report, and even then the issue won’t be resolved and it’s been several months. Before this new management this place was decent, things got resolved within 48 hours and if it didn’t, the rental office staff would inform you on the status. Here they do not care.

New ownership is terrible. Maintenance takes too long. My request is over 4 weeks old. Was assigned to a worker but nothing has been done. Management shrugs shoulders and says they will get to it after emergencies. Not satisfactory given the recent rent increase.
