First of all, the price was higher than most of the same facilities around town. That being said the facility was very clean and we were given treatment right away (middle of the afternoon on a Monday). The staff was friendly and explained what was going on with my puppy and what the treatment options would be. The cost of service was explained before any services were rendered. I would return here for emergency treatments. It's not posted anywhere outside of the facility but they do take pet health insurance and CareCredit. Also, gave me a military discount on the total.

We received ER services on Sunday. The staff and vet were excellent and very empathetic when the end of life decision had to be made for our sweet dog.

I wish I could give the a negative number for a rating. I took my precious 3 year old yorkie to Blue Pearl in Augusta GA on 5/3/2022. My baby was wheezing and had been vomiting. We were left in a room awaiting care and my dog started vomiting. I ran out to front desk and told the blue pearl employee and they did nothing. I had to search the clinic to clean vomit my self. When doctor did arrive to the room we advised of my dog's vomiting. He did not even acknowledge it. I asked if my dog was in Heart failure and what stage. I was told that he was uncertain. Only to return to blue pearl two days later to see the cardiologist to be told that my dog was not in heart failure. I have called many times only to not have my calls returned and told of days when return calls would occur which did not happen. So please if you are in the Augusta ga area take you pet to UGA or Columbia for emergency care. Blue Pearl in connection with Banfield is a racket and a scam. Same corporation. Update: My baby passed away May 12th 2022 after additional trips to BluePearl and refusal of care from Banfield (location of his primary care vet). The people at Blue Pearl were heartless and compassionless regarding his death and had a lack concern and care. My baby was throughly disrespected in everyway morally and medically. The pain in dealing with these people was unbelievable. We still have no closure. My pet final end of life care was administired by north augusta pet hospital. Where he was treated with compassion and care but it was too late due to the issues with Bluepearlvet. Note: If you definitely want poor care and or death for your pet this is the place. Death is almost assured along with a don't care attitude. Nothing can bring my baby back. If this review can save one family and save one pet please know I am not exaggerating about this experience. Protect your pets and use local vets and/or UGA or emergency services in Columbia SC. Stay away from Bluepearlvet.

I am currently at Blue Pearl now with my sick cat, Sally. The facility is beyond clean & beautiful! The entire staff is terrific! Dr. Marilyn Rumbaugh was the doctor who treated Sally. She was fabulous! She took her time & explained everything with great detail. I feel extremely confident in what Dr. Rumbaugh has prescribed. Emergency services are expensive but, just knowing that my kitty received top notch testing, care, & treatment is worth every penny! I highly recommend Blue Pearl. I hope that in the future I won't need emergency services again but, if I do, I will not hesitate to return.

Best thing to do is call them - I don't know if they have different prices for different animals

That sounds like more of a problem to see your vet about but I don't know the entire nature of your dogs problem. I recommend calling the number associated with this vet to see if they can give you advice on what action to take.

What is the cost to determine what is wrong with your dog?

It was $150 just to walk into the exam room not including what they have to do in the back. To help treat your animal or the medication to go home with.
