The floor in the bathroom was not clean you could tell when you got out of the shower. There was a broken lamp shade and last night of our stay they completely ran out of clean towels. Other than that it's a good place and the staff we interacted with were great and went above and beyond.

First off, let me say this! The room was great! The breakfast was good for what it is, and the front desk staff was beyond wonderful. Ginger was absolutely amazing! In my opinion she deserves a raise or a promotion!! The reason you’re getting a two star review from me is that your house keeping left a lot to be desired! Your housekeeping staff was horrible. We were told that our room would be cleaned on the THIRD day of our stay. It didn’t get cleaned until the FIFTH day of our stay.. and even then, the room did not get cleaned. The bedding got changed and more towels were brought but the trash cans did not get emptied, the floors did not get vacuumed … that was the only unsatisfactory part of our stay but for me that’s a huge part . I would seriously recommend either better training for your housekeepers or better quality of workers you hire.

Very nice hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to help. Room was clean, and very big and also quiet. Breakfast was well done and very tasty. Don't get any crazy ideas, it is a hotel breakfast, but for what it was it was really good. Also, the hotel is literally smack dab in the middle of Altoona. Everything you could want to do/see is within a 5 minute drive of the hotel.

The rooms themselves were great,very clean! My guy and I had wonderful visit! July of 2021 they were having staff issues with a snotty front desk girl who caused many negative issues with many guests including myself,but I heard they let her go. Hopefully there is a more hospitable environment in this hospitality business now. If there is, then I look forward to going back & will add the other two stars. Downtown Altoona was awe inspiring to tour with all the architecture !! ( The view of downtown Altoona I posted is the view from the back of this hotel, and there are lovely shops over there!)

I'm so sorry, we do normally travel with our 2 cats but this was an emergency visit to Altoona Hospital for my Father in law that we received in the morning and we packed up overnight bags and just ran out the door. We were at the hospital for quite a while, but the hotel was very helpful at a difficult time. The ck in was very prompt and polite... The rooms were unbelievably beautiful and clean! Bed was very comfortable and shower 🚿 felt great after the 3hr drive and hrs @ the hospital. I do recommend the hotel no matter what. Thank you for your fantastic service to us on our emergency stay 2/12/2018...it helped with the passing of my husbands father. I hope at least this helps a bit. Just call the hotel 🏩 and ask if 🐶 puppies can join you. I know service animals can. Take care!
