Well I may be jumping the gun giving it a 5 star since I didn't get to see what the apartments look like inside. But overall, the appearance was definitely inviting and my experience with the ladies to the process of application. It has been absolutely easy, pleasant and rewarding. I think that's the hardest part. 😂 What I've been through, I can make a home anywhere, even a cardboard box. Truly grateful for Allentown Housing Authority.

Office people are rude ! they answer and dont hear what they wanna hear and They hang up right away if you don't say you have an active application i guess !

I've been calling since yesterday so they can come fix the got water they dont answer the phone the maintenance is supposed to be answerd 24 hrs I left dozens of messages and they seem to not care the whole building dosent have hot water and no one seems to care.

How does one look Hispanic?😂🤔 They come in all shapes, sizes, hair colors, and skin colors too. I called my last salon The United Nations because I had such a diverse clientele. Obviously, this person has had little to no experience with people who speak Spanish as their first language. Cultures also vary. I would be surprised if I was asked a question like that, and wonder if it is descriminatory.
U gotta call ur housing and tell them u wanna leave. Then call where u wanna go and ask if they are billing or absorbing. Then call ur current one back and tell them. If it works out u can look for a place in Allentown first find one u like cause u only get like 2 months to find one and it can take longer then that.. hope ur still with me lol....so once u find the place u want call ur current and say ur transferring. They will send ur info to Allentown who will issue u a voucher and then u get the place inspected sing lease and ur good.

I received a letter by mail and had to respond in a certain time frame if I was still interested. I don't know how you applied like online or in person, but if I remember correctly you could check status online as long as you have that # they gave after they accepted the application.The people there are pretty friendly so you could try the number to the office. Good luck ☘️
