Pitbulls make GREAT pets but many insurance companies will NOT insure you for certain breeds as I found out. Just FYI!!
A month ago there weren't many puppies, but several mamas were due about now. I'd give a call to see when they'll be ready to adopt.
That information is not possible here. Either visit the website or visit the ranch personally
Wouldn't know sorry. Haven't been there in months
Hello, you can submit a surrender form at bdrr.org/surrender and if our team believes we are the best fit and we have the space, they will reach out with next steps!
We are very sorry to hear about your friend's situation. We provide a surrender application on our website at bdrr.org/surrender. We are unable to take in any aggressive dogs or dogs with a bite record, and we do our best to take in as many dogs as space allows.
Yes I belive we do! I would definitely come by this weekend and see for yourself if you would like to adopt a dog though. Staff can help you find just what your looking for!

Absolutely! We have tons of different collars and leashes, as well as other dog and human items! We are open every day of the week from 10am to 5pm.

Right at the facility they are wonderful people and they're wonderful with animals just bring the puppy or dog back to them they will take care of everything
Jason, I don't know if they offer this service. Give them a call.
Best to call them and ask. I do not know.
Yo have to check the web page because the availability change daily.
Yes. They are there to take care of dogs that need a new furever home.
I think they accept any type of dog. Please call them and ask.
I would say to call them during office hours.
Definitely not!!!!!
You'll have to contact BDRR directly as I'm just a person who wrote a review. Good luck!
There are dogs of so many shapes and sizes so you should definitely come and see a pup or two for yourself!!
They have over 500 dogs all sizes even puppies!
Yes he was the one that had sever medical issues
Apply first so you can get approved because that process might take a couple of days and puppies fly off the ranch. Once approved you can make an appointment for the puppy(ies) that you like, the adoption is on the same day.
No. The dog has to pass a temperament test. If it can't be around other dogs then they will not take it.
Report it as such. I'm sure this is not an isolated incident, unfortunately. You tell them you no longer have the animal. There will probably be a phone number to contact on the bill.
Sorry you are having this difficult time... bdrr.org/surrender-your-dog is the web link that will have the info your looking for. Best of luck...
The website has all the information for you. I think 13 is the age however you will need a parent and it cost a small amount of money to apply.
They have puppy and small breed dogs it also depends what kind of dog
14444 Okeechobee blvd. If you are coming from I95 keep going straight on Okeechobee pass royal palm beach...then after royal palm beach school (Elementary school) pass fire department its after that on your left side...if you get lost..no worries just follow GPS😂👍
I am a customer just like you. I don't work there. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Maybe someone employed there can be of more help to you.
I would call their number. So many dogs are getting adapted!
All volunteers must attend an orientation class before they are able to volunteer. They accept volunteers from 10 years of age. All volunteers must wear Big Dog Ranch Rescue shirts when they are volunteering. All volunteers are required to have signed releases, youth need their parents signature and participation during training. Go to the web site for more info.
Check on bdrr.org/adoptable-dogs/ for all available dogs and puppies
Same day
Our 40 lbs pup cost about $300. But that included, spay/fix, rabies and other inoculations, a location ID chip, and the legal papers. A great deal that you will not have any additional vet costs for an entire year.
Must go there to see which pets are available, and you can check online first
Yes!
Best to plan a visit with your Dad and see all the lovely dogs available for adoption.
Check the website. All the adoptable dogs listed there.
Big Dog Ranch and Rescue always appreciates more volunteers. Go to the web site to sign up for the volunteer class.
Auf you fiel out an application online beforehand you should be able to. Call them ahead a time which dog you like to adopt. They will give you details about the particular dog including health history.
They have many smaller breeds now. If you go to the website ( I believe you did ) the available dogs are listed. As far as having facilities on Georgia not to my knowledge . It would be a fantastic reason to come south for s bit tho ! 💙💜💙
I have a dog but in my locality they do not accept dogs outside and I do not have space to have it, I could give it there for someone to adopt.
BDRR is a rescue... So day by, given that they have about 600 pups in ther care, there is an assortment of breeds mixed and pure. If you need a pure breed, go to a breeder. If you want to have a pet that will always be thankfull for your kindness, BDRR is your choice.
Yes you are allowed to see puppies. The cost depends on the race of the puppy. But the cost to adopt any animal or puppy is small compare to purchase a puppy from a puppy mill. Also all animals are constantly checked from a vet and treated for any type of illness. The even show you the medical records from the pet you like to adopt. For me is a no brainer to get a little ruscel from an amazing shelter.
Also contact the chip company them well be able to direct you, hope you find your pet.
Please call them and ask, sometimes they know what is coming in. Last I was there, no pugs. But they have other beautiful dogs and puppies who are needing a good home.
Take a look at the adoptable dogs listed on the BDRR website; they're all looking for a home (don't know who C.H./Teddy are).
The adoptable dogs are listed on the BDRR website.
I don't know, but they do cater to all different types of dogs.
You need to call BDRR directly, they might not see your question here. Critical condition -- she needs to be seen by a vet!
Local anminal shelters would ne glad to take the dog.
Big Dog Ranch has tons of amazing dogs looking for forever homes. Some are younger and some are older. Breeds vary
Don't make any quick decisions. Remember Your Dog is a "COMFORT" at this time that you are grieving the death of your husband-&YOUR DOG must MISS your Husband Dearly ALSO! So PLEASE give this A LOT of Thought- DON'T Loose your 4 legged companion also. (I dont know your situation but maybe keeping your Shepard can be worked out)..But if you need to - just Contact Big Dog Ranch &they will direct you what to do. ..& maybe someone seeing this will want the Shepard. How old is the Shepherd? How's his disposition? My heart goes out to you-Sorry for the passing of your husband & Please CAREFULLY make this decision. 💟
Depends on the age/size of the dog; adoption fee is usually $300 for puppies and $400 for adult dogs. A couple weeks ago they had a $50 off weekend, which happens every now and then.
Yes they do. Go to this web site to see application for surrender: https://www.bdrr.org/surrender-form
Did you try there facebook page?
Pups in shelters need company. It helps them. The people at big dog are very friendly to visitors.
I don't speak Spanish, sorry
Yes please go to the website! Thank you
Give them a call to make sure they have room.
It's a rescue shelter... so pups come and go. Call them, visit often, and let them know your interests. Also, think about saving a senior dog, it will thank you every day.
No
BDRR is a no kill shelter that works to get every dog a forever home. The dogs live inside with heating and cooling in their rooms and have access to large well designed play yards and they are walked on a leash regularly. You would need to call them to find out their surrender requirements.
Definitely not a puppy mill. Do your research before you slander something trying to do good for animals. What are you doing to improve animals lives? Every animal shelter euthanize, they only euth for health and extreme behavior, just like all the other shelters.
You could call them and see if they have any suggestions. Did you call a trainer to help you?
Looks like you have a history complaining, so move on. BDRR is no kill, go volunteer and find out.
They always need volunteers for walking, feeding and socializing. Check website for orientation schedule.
That's sad
They would be happy to answer all your questions.
Call center directly
This is a public forum, your better off going to their website
Talk to Big Dog Ranch Rescue. If they can't take the dog perhaps they can give you an idea where he can go. Also PAWS does quite a bit of rescue work & they are fabulous with the animals. Good Luck.
Big Dog Ranch Rescue has all kinds of dogs. The best thing to do is call them & see what's up for adoption this week. You can also go to their site & see the puppies that are being shown. Even better take a trip to their facility. They love people stopping by as each person is a potential "forever home" for one (or 2) lucky candidates! Good Luck.
They do have a volunteer program. They will be happy to provide you with the details.
we got our dog there..Great Place
Yes, drop them off anytime. Always needed.
