Pitbulls make GREAT pets but many insurance companies will NOT insure you for certain breeds as I found out. Just FYI!!

Throwing this out there. But, if im not mistaken there are certain physical qualities that pits posses that other breeds dont. Some do think a dog is a pit or pit mix because it resembles the breed. Maybe a qaulified vet could give some expertise to differenciate a pit from a pit look a like.

If the dog is mixed breed, it can’t be shown it’s a pit bull mix unless DNA testing is done. There are mixes with dogs like labs & goldens.
