Was my favorite place to go growing up and now they are super lame. Raised their prices on everything and they are never open. Even before the pandemic the website would say open and then they wouldn't be. Do us a favor and sell the property to people who actually want to run the place.

If you are a bus driver and here with a group u can’t go swimming at all not happy it’s 91 degrees sweating in the parking lot I forgot to mention this per company policy of the bus company I am not supposed to leave this group

I've been going to this place since 1990. The family who allows you to come onto to their own property is amazing!!! Minimal fee, rent a kayak, canoe, paddle boat, not sure if they still have row boats, swim, jump, slide, sun bath, bring n eat lunch, snack bar, n enjoy summer. Picnic tables & playground. Last time I checked they were open mon-fri till 5pm. I don't think they were open summer of 2020 because of covid 19.

There's dogs on the property all the time off the leash, probably the owners of sunset. People in the neighborhood also walk through the property daily with dogs on the leash. Im sure if u wanted to rent a boat they wouldnt care if you took a dog out on the boat.
Yes it is privately owned. Keep in mind that they are only open on weekdays and holidays. Hours are 10-5 weekdays and 9-6 holidays. Admission for holiday is $10. Per adult and $6. Per child (any child other than newborn.
Yes they are open, but you have to arrive very early for parking and to fund a good spot and they charge
