A couple months after an excellent cleaning and servicing of out 100 year old Grandmother clock ( not to mention an interesting education ) I pulled the one weight up and unknowingly had it jammed and it stopped chiming. Nathan was able to come up the same day I contacted him and fixed the problem in about 20 seconds. Thanks Nathan

Mr. Rodes was timely in responding to my email reaching out for help with my wall clock. His advice was the remedy and much appreciated. He was more than willing to assist in a matter in which he did not receive a fee but to provide his expertise for the remedy. Now that is a businessman. I highly recommend him for his customer service skills and clock knowledge and experience.

Questions & Answers

One of the weights in my grandfather clock is not ascending the other is fine could it need oiling ?

There may be something wrong with the clock mechanics. Don't try oiling it yourself because it takes a very special oil. People try using WD40 and that ruins it. I would call the business phone. Nathan and Dwayne Rodes are very nice and knowledgable people!

What's the lever next to the 3 on a Howard miller grandfather clock for ?

It's a chime selector. Depending on the grandfather clock you have, some of them have different chimes you can select other than the Westminster chimes, or a silent selection so it doesn't chime at all. It depends on the grandfather clock though. I've seen some with just the Westminster and the silent option, and I've seen some that have three different chime selections.
