Nice stay, except the back doors of the building didn't work. The only parking available when I arrived was at the back of the building. So to enter, you had to walk all the way around the building. Seemed a little pricey for this quality of hotel. But everything is more now!

We had to reserve a room for a last minute trip to go to a family funeral and knew it would be exhausting so we specifically searched for a hotel where we could do some relaxing - i.e. pool, hot tub, hot breakfast. Upon arriving we found out the pool and hot tub were out of order and the reason being "it might be a heater issue I am not sure" from the front desk. If we had known this, we most certainly would have booked a different hotel. He asked if we would like to cancel, but we reserved through third-party so it was non-refundable. I asked if there was any comp they could give us and he said no. When we got to our room it smelled musty and like body odor - not awful enough to book a different room, but definitely awful enough that it took about 10 minutes to get used to. The front desk clerk told us our key cards would work in the backdoors closest to our room so we parked back there and every door would not let us in. We had to walk all the way around the building to the front and that is when the night shift clerk told us that wasn't functioning since the day prior due to some update issue - why the day clerk told us it would work we don't know. When we woke up the next morning to check out, the pool was suddenly open but the hot tub was still closed. The breakfast was fair for a complimentary breakfast - the bacon was a bit more undercooked than one might like and the eggs are the circle, pre-made scrambled egg patties. They did have waffles so that was a plus and yogurt, bagels, coffee, etc. There was only apple juice however, regardless of one side of the dispenser being labeled orange juice. They just put apple juice in both sides and didn't notify anyone. Every time my husband went to grab something, it was empty and breakfast wasn't even half over yet so he was constantly telling the preparer that things needed refilled. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience all around and we will not be booking here again.

The room and employees were great. Comfortable bed, nice shower and breakfast was fine in the morning. Took 2 stars away because we called and asked if they had a pool. They said yes. When we got there they said it was out of order and had been for over a year! Disappointing.

I had a room reserved and chose not to stay. When I arrived, I waited by the front desk for a bit. No one came. I heard talking around the corner and looked around the corner it was staff and I asked if someone could help me. A desk agent came and said they had been booked for the past few days and had nothing available. I expressed I had a reservation and that was unacceptable. She proceeded to get angry with me. I asked to talk to the manager. When they came back to the desk the manager was angry and told me I had to fill out the paperwork and put in my card. At this point I wasn’t sure what to do, so I complied. The situation continue to escalate and I decided I was not going to stay no matter what, and asked for a refund. She said I would not get one and that there would not be a room for me no matter what. I realize these are trying times for everyone. But there is no excuse to treat people this way. At this point I feel I should be refunded for the stay, since I didn’t stay there. I also hope that you have a chat with your staff on customer service and how to handle these type of situations. The situation could have been avoided by simply saying I’m sorry but… =(
