Positive: It was close to the casino Negative: Pictures are very deceiving. The bed was very uncomfortable, smoke detector was going off, had to put a blanket in front of the door to block the light. I have stayed at some bad hotels and motels but this one is the worse.

The only good thing about this place is that is directly across the street from the casino. Mattress covers where filthy. You could tell they at some point had a bed bug problem. I flipped all the mattress over and checked and never seen a living bed bug. Something sticky all over the head boards on beds, shower didn't drain, shower head made a loud whining sound the entire time we took showers, and the desk chair was filthy.

Location is excellent as it is just a straight walk over to the casino. Only complaint about our room was the bathroom light kept going on and off and the shower would make a hissing sound when turned to the hot water position. Other than that will stay again.

We stayed at the Days Inn in Cherokee, NC from 2/4-2/5. We had a bad experience with the shower/bathroom, which had little to no hot water, as well as a trickle of water pressure. In addition, any time the shower head was on, it made a loud whining noise that could most likely have been heard in the room next door. When we spoke with reception, they said that they had been having this issue in part of the building and would have a manager contact us, and would offer us a refund or two free night stays for the issue. Over the past week, we have reached out several times and been told time and time again that it was being "investigated" or that the manager would give us a call back. Finally, we spoke with the manager today, and he was incredibly rude and accused us of lying, saying that it hadn't been an issue before. We're disappointed in the lack of professionalism, customer service and the fact that we paid for a room with the amenities of a bathroom that were hardly usable.
