*UPDATE 11/21:. FINALLY RE-OPENED After 18 month Covid shutdown. New hours. Open Monday, Wednesday, Thurs 4pm-9pm Friday: 11am - 9pm Closed: Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday Great location, helpful knowledgeable staff, no frills environment, but very reasonably priced. The only problem is the new hours of operation. It almost seems that the "Powers That Be" are intent on making it fail intentionally. It's closed Saturday and Sundays, and once again the tax paying residents of Yonkers get screwed out of the opportunity to use the facility. If it were any other recreational activity, or social center, it would be given top priority for residents and law enforcement officers of Westchester and Yonkers to access it.

My Dad and I used to go there when I was around twelve years old. Over fourty years ago. Good gun training should be apart of everyone’s life. We are America’s army. Keep America the greatest country in the world. Glad to see there still open. Lots of great memories.

no shotguns buddy only small caliber rifles and pistols, no magnum rounds as well
Hi Johanne. I'm sorry I don't know. I' think you have to have a conceal permit to use the faculty. I think this facility is for practice range for those with a conceal permit.
Hi Luc. Not sure I've never used the facility. If you have a carry permit you could ask. Might be a facility for law enforcement.

You do not need a permit to rent a 22 caliber rifle. In NY, in general, you are required to have a concealed carry permit to event touch a pistol at a range. It can have restrictions such as Target, Hunting, etc, as long as you have a permit, you are good to go. Their website actually has all the info you need. May seem old, but just like the range, it's useful.

Only if you are using a pistol. Then you need a New York State pistol permit. Rifles do not need a permit.
