This is a treasure of a park. Absolutely worth the stop. We spent two days there and did not get to do everything. We will definitely be back. You can camp in the redwoods, and walk miles of trail by the coast. Every view is breathtaking.

Absolutely loved this park. At first I didn't want to stop due to other well-known stops along my route. I'M GLAD I DID. It's $8 for a day pass for the park. Money well spent. Lots of fun for families and great photo opps for the solo traveler. This is a must-stop.

Sue-Meg State Park made for a great stay... Lovely views, helpful staff and camp host, lots of places to walk and explore while you stay there. Take the guided tour of the village... It's a wonderful way to learn about the longer history of the area and gain a better appreciation of it and the people who have lived so long in the area. The cabins are clean, dry, and warm. If staying there, consider that there is no broom, tables/chairs, or mattress/cushion on the beds. You may want to pack those for yourself if you'd use them.

Great place to picnic and learn about the Yurok Native Traditions and Culture! Different trails throughout the park with great ocean and wildlife viewing. There are plenty of clean restrooms scattered around the park and several overnight campsites with easy online reservation instructions. $ 8-day use fee if you just want to hang out for the day. I stay or visit this park every time I'm on the Northern California Coast!

Yes
It is posted dogs are not allowed. I can remember as a young girl my parents would take the dog we had. She was well behaved. The next dog we had we did not take to this beach as it was too dangerous for him. If you do disregard the posting please pick up after your dog. That is part of why so many beaches get closed to them.
Larrupin opens after 5 pm and it has amazing seafood and wine its a great dinner spot. And Trinidad Bay eatery and gallery is another great one. Ocean Grove is a little less flashy but it's good food
Yes, trail open and the stairs are still good at end.
Only in the campground, not on the trails even with a leash. Dog must be in the tent, RV or car at night. I recently spent a week at Patricks Point and it is an annual vacation spot for us. Also, there are mountain lions that do come into the camp sites at night.
Yes they water faucets throughout park but I don't recall about dump station
yeah whole park , including campgrounds , day use areas, visitor center is all vehicle accesible..trails are all short , but some are steep , and all accessible from various parking areas ..
One of the best spots on the coast. Hard to get a spot without planning ahead.
Group, single family, and smaller RV sites are available
No dump station, however the rest stop off of seawood has a free dump station going north. We had to turn around to be able to dump and get back on 101S to go home. But it is a free dump station.
$35 per night, I just spent a week there 2 weeks ago.
There ate showers and they are clean. Showers are free with your paid campsite.
Yes, they do have a small display there. I saw it yesterday. They have lights behind the agates so they can be seen well
Yes you can. There's no gate so if there's no one in the little office you just keep driving
Yes it is. The number of camp spaces are reduced during the winter.
There is a lost and found! You can call the Patrick's Point phone number and ask if they have a cap matching that description!
I would sign up as soon as ypu cant they get booked up fast
Yes, there is an entrance fee. There may be parking on the highway, so you can walk in, but I can't remember for this park. If you can afford it, go ahead and pay the entrance fee (probably less than $10)--it helps to support the park.
