Edit: the manager at this location was actually very kind and knowledgeable and I felt bad that she had clearly not been given the proper resources to do her job by the city. Original review below: What is most upsetting is that the system was clearly designed to be complicated and difficult to use in order to discourage people from seeking services, and they’re using tax payer dollars to make sure that people can’t get access to their own tax payer dollars. It really feels diabolical and evil on another level. Be prepared to sacrifice your dignity and spend endless hours being shuffled from line to line never being told what is happening, why you are there instead of able to do it over the phone, and you’ll wonder why you even tried in the first place. Also be prepared to get yelled at by the combative staff throughout the entire process for no reason. I can also confirm what others are saying that the machines are dysfunctional and do not work and they do not have enough staff. The staff they do have does not know what they are doing and are woefully prepared if they are prepared at all. This is a nightmare scenario worse than the DMV and ER combined. Common sense please mayors office! Stop wasting millions of hours and dollars a year through inefficiency.
