While driving to Albany the car started vibrating when going over 65mph, tried to make an appointment with the Tesla service center but had nothing for almost a week. Has no choice but to go in and speak with someone, so next morning at the Tesla service Scott stated they were full and asked that I try a local Firestone, but they informed that they don’t work on Tesla’s. Then I went to Good Year who said one of wheels balance was way off. When I picked up the car the vibration was still there. I started googling and came across a YouTube video where someone had their acoustic foam in the tire come apart. Came back to Tesla and told them about this and time they took me in right away and guess what? It was indeed the acoustic foam that had come apart. So they just had to remove it, they explained the foam helps reduce road noise while driving but does not affect drivability. In fact when you replace the tires the replacement does not come with acoustic foam. They also said balance was on all four wheels and Good Year had put too much weight on the wheel they worked on. So after $300+ between Goodyear & Tesla it was an education and an experience. And heck yes I would still own a Tesla. Folks at service center did all they can to help. A+ customer service.

(Model 3) Either open your phone app & look near the bottom, or in the car, go to software & you should find it there.
I don't think so. However, when I had service there recently they gave me a loaner...

In the r cent past, you could get it delivered right to your door. Ask your sales rep.
Hi Ellen! We are currently installing them, yes. With that said though, These FSD computers are being shipped from the factory with a VIN attached to them so as they arrive, they're specific to each owner's Tesla. When they come in, we lookup the VIN and call/schedule the customer accordingly. Hope this helps! Please don't hesitate to call for more info: 518-246-2120 ext. 76941.
