Beautiful place. I would go again. There are bathrooms and a museum with snakes and turtles. A lot of benches and chairs.

I found this place driving back home because Lake Welch was closed due to contaminated water, and when I tell you, it is such an amazing, clean environment!!! IT IS!! EVERYONE just got along as if we knew each other, which made it even better. Social distancing was practiced, and so much fun with my friends and family. I will be returning again! Oh, and $6 for parking.... $6!!!!!!!! Lol 😂

Incredibly picturesque. Seems to be a little off the beaten track as well: so typically less crowded on days when the other lakes are packed. (Or maybe I've just gotten lucky?) Anyway... absolutely recommended.

There are grills for cooking. You will need either charcoal or wood and a grill plate. Tables galore. Vending machines, clean bathrooms. There is a boat launch. LAKE IS CALM AND CLEAN.
