The boat launch side of the park has free parking. However the port-a-potty is hidden at the far end and in need of attention. The area to launch from is relatively clear of debris but pretty close to the edge you will encounter vegetation in the water.
All that said it is a nice place to launch from to reach the Northern Mouth of the Lamoille River.

Great state park. Clean and convenient. Very good access to beach, picnic tables and parking.

What does it mean that the Sandbar Park is temporarily closed? I remember going there last winter several times.

Sandbar does not have a pavilion but has many picnic tables. They are not easy to move without a few people. Lots of shade trees.
