So wonderful! Great trail maps and close to town if you need something.

Campsites were rocky to pitch a tent.

ATV review only. I’m sure it’s a beautiful place otherwise. Whoever is in charge of the ATV trails should be fired immediately. They are so awful and discusting I’m furious. Down trees everywhere, boulders and rocks, no markings at junctions and trails that are closed aren’t marked so you constantly get to dead ends or dangerous areas. My new $1200 wheels are trashed because how Unkept this place is. I had to constantly winch trees out of my way. DO NOT RIDE ATVS HERE!

Yes, however public roads may not be suitable for bikes. Very bumpy, and full of pot holes. Park itself is not allowed. No motorized boats in water, either.
Yes at campground sites in Lee ..... You'll need advance reservations...... Also part of the Appalachian Trail is an AMCHut at Goose Pond and within the October Mountain Area has camping available - I Tree Camped there several years ago..... Only available by foot, by kayak, or canoe..... It is more camping for backpackers
The fishing is excellent there in the summer and the location is exquisite.... One of my favorite places in the Berkshires...
I drive all over the place up there with a Mazda 6, but there's alot of trails and roads that are prime for wheeling.
Seen plenty off leash, and every one has been friendly..plenty of places to let dog run around..i guess its up to you though..
Yes you need a license. You'll need to do a search for Pittsfield ; some local stores will do it.
There were some small off road vehicle trails. Nothing extensive.
Usually just after sunset or right before sunrise... mostly depends how many mushrooms I've eaten 🤔
You can't legally year round. Once the snow flys your done. I would say Thanksgiving you'll be fine for sure.
Yes, at each campsite there is one.
No swimming, closest pond is called Woods Pond and you DO NOT want to swim in it...
Fishing, yes; swimming, no. We go up to October Lake (aka October Mountain Reservoir) to fish. There's no boat ramp and I think motors are prohibited but we always fish from our canoe anyway. You'll need to check to see if the day use area is open yet since it's been closed (July 2020) from storm damage but you can still walk down. There's also Woods Pond on the Housatonic but it's strictly catch and release because of the chemicals from the old mill.
Well if you are going this time of year still very nice, lots of deer, and other animal tracks everywhere to look at. Some of the roads I would say require 4wd, muddy, and quite a few ruts I found it to be fun since I had my Jeep...my wife not so much...lol
If you go to ReserveAmerica.com it will tell you there and also it's where you book them.
$17 for residents, $27 for nonresidents according to the DCR website. They also rent yurts out but that price is not listed. They mention that there is an electric power station nearby and that you may notice a low frequency noise. Check in time is from 1-9. Quiet time from 10-7.
