The neighborhood is great. It is clean, and there are plenty of families with kids playing around the neighborhood. With moving so often, it is nice to live in a place that feels like home.

So far out experience has been good. A few maintenance issues but the issues have been fixed. I love love love the events they hold. Brings a bit if normalcy to this new COVID works. No housing is perfect but this housing goes the extra mile which I appreciate so much. You just have to stay informed and take advantage of all the amazing possibilities.

We're not even moved in yet & are very impressed with Susy & the housing staff costumer service. I inquired demensions of the washer/dryer area, to ensure our personal machines would fit..& she offered to provide a virtual tour that next morning, so we could see the entire house. A tour wasn't even a thought, yet seeing the house beforehand made us feel at ease & helped prepare for organizing our HHG. (Especially with the homes that have been remodeled & don't align with any provided floorplans). Staff wore masks and provided virtual tour full of enthusiasm for our beautiful home & humongous yard -to -be. When asked if we could possibly have the provided (beautiful new) washer/dryer removed, prior to our HHG arriving next week, without hesitation she had it done that next day. We are really looking forward to becoming a part of this community. Even during COVID, they've provided great costumer service and adjusted to the times we find ourselves in.. with touch free move in process of a lock box, easy drop off paperwork drop box & a virtual tour was a surprising bonus.

I have mixed feelings about Admiral Hartman. I love the neighborhood, and the staff has always been very friendly. But the truth is military housing is always taking shortcuts that feel ridiculous. We pay a lot in rent to live here, but our appliances keep going out, and when they replace them, we get second hand refurbished, used appliances, which half the time also don't work right. We have a four bedroom home, which insinuates a large family...we get a one car driveway, that is about a 38 degree angle, so I have had to replace my brakes multiple times because they go out quicker parking on a hill that steep. I know what you're thinking, park in the street right? That's not always a possiblility either. Again though, the staff is always friendly and helpful, but the house itself is military housing. There's no venting in the bathrooms, and when we moved in there was mold that was just painted over and because of the lack of venting, the paint has peeled and exposed the mold spots. Its just frustrating because it's a great neighborhood, with great staff, but it is your standard military housing, same issues we've run into at every base.
