Such a beautiful garden to rest, admire, soak in the quiet and beautiful nature.

The 100-year-old Dumbarton Oaks Gardens are well worth the entry fee. This Europhile paradise is a beautifully kept secret in Georgetown, with some 20 landscaped garden “rooms” divided by stone walls, boxwood shrubs and fountains in English, French, and Italian styles. Escape the urban stress and get zen here. You will love it!

Heaven in the City. Beatrix Farrand’s masterpiece is a hidden gem. A must visit (even in a hot july weather). The design, the history, the plants, the flowers even the brochure are all spectacular. Museum is Free - The Garden is $9. Enjoy - Olan❤️

Yes but you're going to have to park on the street
Depending on how thorough you wish to see the gardens, I would estimate 90 minutes to 2 hours is a fair time to get a good sense for the overall design and beauty of the grounds.
