Listen to the reviews. This place is nuts oh. I finally had the chance to foster since no other pets in house. (I didn't want to give my current pets any illnesses coming from fostering) They denied because my indoor cats whom passed weren't up to date on their vaccines. On top of that we were denied because we were part of another foster place and we had kittens. Yes, but wanted to find someplace closer after we were done our current fostering. So I wasn't driving so far to pick up. Don't waste your time. I'll stick to the drive with whom I wasn't chastised about.

An inexpensive place to take your cats to be spayed or neutered. Thank goodness for places like this.

They should have a zero star rating for this rescue! I used to take care of a neighborhood stray cat years ago but I moved and it was best for her to stay behind where she was familiar and a few neighbors fed her as well.I found out that she was in their shelter due to old age so I inquired to see if I could give her a good end of her life indoors as she was an outdoor cat her whole life. They were not very helpful and when I requested to go to the shelter to find her, they would not let me and insisted that she wasn't there. I know that she is from a reliable resource and they just stopped responding to my emails. They definitely don't care about the animals or they would have let me find her and give her a good home. I have since found out that they had something against one of my old neighbors and it's the only reason I can imagine that they didn't make this adoption happen. Pretty shameful that a grievance with an ex employee would deter them from helping an animal. I believe all of their bad reviews and don't think they have good business practices, their priorities are out of line. EDIT*** That's odd because you told me you didn't know what cat I was talking about which is why I wanted to visit your shelter but you would not allow me! I will never do business with Animal Rescue Inc. Maybe there is a reason for all of your bad reviews that need a closer look.

Yes, they are a no kill shelter and very caring.
Our website animalrescueinc.org Has some of our dogs listed, & you can come to the shelter @ 2 Heritage Farm Dr, New Freedom, Pa. 17349, The Tour hours are Mon, Wed, Fri 1-3, Sat 12-4.
I volunteer at the Animal Rescue Inc. in New Freedom and I just called them for you. I was pretty sure the answer was yes but I wanted to confirm for you. As soon as York goes to Green, they will be accepting donations and they definitely will accept gently used towels. They seemed very grateful that you thought of them. I didn't know if they would see this message which is why I wanted to make sure they got it!
Call them and ask if they can help. Their number is on the website. I am not sure if they monitor this question and answer site. Good luck to you and sorry for your loss.
Im pretty sure that they spay trapped animals for the fee of 40 but call them and make sure, you need to make an appointment
Please fill out a surrender inquiry that you can find on our website. If you could possibly fill out one for the cats and a different one for the dog. This is no guarantee that we can absolutely take them, but we can see if we can help.
I'm sure they do an they took very good care of my cat
Sounds like a great idea! Please contact them directly.
Unfortunately we do not have a date yet. We have a large number of appointments to be rescheduled prior to opening up to new appointments.
Right now they are only having people in by appointments. Just to protect their staff and volunteers. I believe I read if your interested in a particular animal you need to call to make an appointment but right now they are closed to the public...
I believe they do
I believe so if accompanied by an adult. I have teamed up with my granddaughter since she was 13.
They have a ton of cats there. Give them a call and go look around. I'm sure they will have one that could be your new buddy. My Tucker passed away on mothers day about 5 years ago.
Try the soca. That's usually as good as it gets
They are.
She needs to be seen by a vet, and quickly.
I would go ahead and atleast call and see. I have never heard of an instance where they turned animals away. I think they even have goats and a cow they rescued at their place right now.
It would cost 50.00 and that includes shots.oh I'm sorry..i didn't know about only cats at this time. I'm sorry for any confusion.
They charge $30 male or female and if you dont have the rabies certificate its $10 for a rabies shot. And additional $10 for the other shot , the flvic..? I forget the abbreviation but distemper and such. You schedule online or can call. January i think is all booked up. Drop off is usually 3-5pm. In a carrier or trap. They can ear tip if you ask. They dont have testing for FIV or leukemia. ...I take a lot cats there! They are amazing, gentle and clean! Much better than spca that leaves your cats smelling like pee because the ferals are spraying everywhere. Pick up can be next day or around 10pm. Which ever you prefer. If they see they need treated for fleas, ear mites, etc, they will do it and send medicine. The medicine is very inexpensive, they charge very little. The best interest is always in the animal.
New Freedom Animal rescue in New Freedom Md. will take it and it's a no kill shelter..Hope this helps
They did take owner surrenders but you'll have to call to be sure. You can also call Heavenly Paws Animal Shelter and Feline Solutions. All tgree are "no-kill" shelters.
Monthly giving is all setup here https://animalrescueinc.networkforgood.com
40.00 for spay. 10.00 for rabies shot. Was just there two weeks ago. Got a male and female fixed. Neuter is the same price.
To the best of my knowledge, Animal Rescue, doesn't have any birds for adoption.
Do you have anyone tp help you with getting the cat somewhere like Anomal Rescue?
Yes. I think , there is an adoption fee that includes all the shots and spay and or neuter.
You would need to contact the rescue and ask to speak to Grace Frolich. She is the owner and is the person who would be able to help you.
The appointment link is under the neuter heading. Once you click on neuter the schedule appointment option shows up.
