This place is an absolute disgrace. Years ago when my dogs got their first rabies shots they had a very bad reaction. One of my dogs, who is just ten pounds, became very, very sick. I nursed her back to health over many days and nights keeping her hydrated with a dropper bottle and fed whatever I could think of to make her eat. I truly believed she might die. Luckily, with lots of care, she pulled through. Needless to say we are very hesitant to vaccinate them for rabies again. At our appointment today, after waiting for forty minutes in the uncomfortable waiting room, we brought up titration, a perfectly viable alternative to vaccination. Even after explaining what happened to our dogs the last time, the vet tech told us absolutely not. She became very belligerent and threatened to call animal welfare on us if we did not plan to vaccinate them again. She was dismissive of all our concerns and experience. The tech became so furious that she left in a huff and brought the doctor in to inform us that they would no longer provide our dogs health care and we needed to leave immediately. The doctor admitted that titration was an option, but in her opinion, “not a good one”. These people are slaves to big Pharma. They will dismiss all your questions, concerns and complaints unless you are helping their bottle line. They also charge an arm and a leg for nail trims and always leave some nails untouched. Avoid at ALL COSTS.
