My previous comment about Friendly Leasing Rep is true, and property is beautiful, My review was premature on a personal level, I have encountered some concerns I don't want to disclose on this platform until they have been properly addressed. I haven't been here long and things I aren't always what they seem coming in.

Mahogany Anderson is a very patient and sincere staff member here. She is very professional as a buisness woman and makes this company called McKinley Indigo Apartments look good everyday she represent you guys in a phenomenal way. She is so great that I have to stop by to say hello daily as I come and go so I can return some of the amazing energy and love that she give to us Indigo residents.

I have nothing to say, only that I am moving to Indigo next month and I am terrified by the comments, hopefully and by then everything with the pests and others will be solved. Let's trust.

I lived here for two years and at first, it was fine, but every year they kept charging up the rent and doing a lack of renovations towards the apartments themselves. They made sure the outside looked "fine" but the units are trash, most of them aren’t updated or remodeled, the CO2 units are trash and barely work and there is a problem with pests. The fleas, roaches, mice, and rats are terrible. They shut the water off frequently for almost two months because the building next to us had issues. The community board wouldn’t let us post anymore even though we only learned of issues due to other residents posting. There is little to no communication with staff; what little there is they are nice but overworked and over their heads. There have been several shootings, gangs, and violence issues, and every time something happens we’re told to “call the cops” but the cops always say “talk to the office.” They also said in an email that “while we have security, we don’t guarantee your safety.” That’s really concerning. It’s "fine" if you’re a college student or need a temporary place to live but it’s not the best place to live forever. Indigo could do much better if they took care of the apartments and people and listened to the issues. Otherwise, I’m beyond happy I left and don’t plan on returning anytime soon.
