Staff is super friendly!
Yes you do. You can do so at www.BookMyTaxTime.com.
Yes
You have to go to the dmv
Just bought a 2009 buick lacrosse, have a 1999 ranger . What do i need to transfer tag,and register disabled ? have disable dash hanger, now
I just got my DL "renewed" and it was 50 something dollar's. I'm not sure how much less it may be for just that but your still going to have to get a whole new DL anyway so it may be around there?
To clarify - do you mean an eye test to obtain a driver license?
We are only servicing St. Lucie County residents. If you're establishing residency in St. Lucie County, we will be happy to help!
Darrell, it all depends on what you need there, DL license, new Title, a DL permit, ect. ect.?? Everyone of those few require different thing's.
The plate itself is $28.00. However, the registration will cost approximately $45.00. If there is a title to transfer the fee is $78.25 plus sales tax if applicable.
Carla, I/we don't work for the DMV we are Google local guide's that answer questions about businesses that we are familiar with. This is solely a question and answer to the Google community. Your best bet is to call them directly or perhaps another Google guide knows the answer, good luck!
Yes you can. I just asked them
I am sure you can ask the person at the door for one. I don't think you need to make an appointmentm
I cannot answer your question, I don't know which form that is
You should call the office for something like that.
Yes! The only way it won't work is if it's past due or if you have a stop on your license for any reason. If you're within the window to renew, simply go to www.tcslc.com and click on "pay online" then select "pay registration renewal" from the top right box on that page. You can also renew online by going to www.MyEasyGov.com, which is the online platform that our site connects to for payments.
If you have your paperwork showing a 100% disability, then bring it in! You will get your driver's license renewal for free, or at a reduced cost.
Yes. FLHSMV recently updated the requirements to reinstate a license that has been expired for more than one year. Drivers wishing to renew a driver license that has been expired for more than a year must now take and pass the written knowledge exam. There is no requirement to retake the skills portion (the road test which is completed in a car on a course).
The St. Lucie County Property Appraiser (PA) is the one who determines taxable value of property each year, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) determines the millage rate and our office collects the taxes on their behalf. The PA will send a TRIM notice out to all property owners in August - that's when you get an idea of how much you will owe on that year's taxes, depending on final decisions made regarding the millage by the BOCC.
Thank you for your question. You can actually renew online and pick up your registration the same or next business day with no appointment needed if you select the "Express Lane" option. Otherwise, we are by appointment only each day from 9a-2p and we accept walk-ins each day from 2:30-5p.
Yes you can! Simply go to www.tcslc.com and click on "pay online" then select "pay registration renewal." If you need it now, choose to pick it up the same or next business day. Otherwise, you can choose to have it mailed to you.
No. You have to go in person for that and bring at least two pieces of mail to you addressed to your new address, one being a bill.
Check out our "What to Bring and Fees" page on our website: https://www.tcslc.com/273/What-to-Bring-Fees This should help answer some of your questions and save you a call to our office (our phones will likely be very busy today after the long holiday weekend).
The car have to be wit Insurance and the tile signature for the seller
It depends - if it occurred in St. Lucie County, yes. If not, you'd have to go to the county where you were charged to get it cleared. You can call our Customer Contact Center and they can look it up for you if you're not sure: 772-462-1650.
What are you looking to do online?
So if you paid the fees over the phone... Why do u have to go in?
You can find information on Florida's insurance requirements by going to https://www.flhsmv.gov/insurance/
We process our mail pretty quickly once it's received - something might have happened with regard to the mail aspect?
Yes - you'll just need to fill out a Power of Attorney form in advance of them coming in, and it can be found here: https://www.tcslc.com/DocumentCenter/View/190/Power-of-Attorney-PDF
U just tell them u don't own a vehicle. Give them a call. Unless u spoke to someone about mailing things in, that's not a good idea.
Yes, however; you will only receive the reduced price for one vehicle.
You'll need your NY title, a VIN verification (if you bring the vehicle to your appointment, it can be done at the office for you) and you'll need proof of Florida insurance - whoever is listed on the title need to come in. You can make an appointment for service at www.BookMyTaxTime.com.
If you have a gold star on the top right of your license, you're already Real ID compliant and that makes the process easier. If not, this is the checklist of what you'll need to bring in order to become Real ID compliant: https://www.tcslc.com/DocumentCenter/View/140/REAL-Identification-Card-Checklist-PDF
Yes - we require appointments for service. We do take walk-ins each day, but availability for walk-ins is not guaranteed...it is determined by the number of appointments we have and that show, and whether or not we can fit in extra transactions throughout the day.
Question is for a DMV official or attorney.
You'll need the title signed by both owners if it is joined by "and" - if it says "or" you can transfer it with one owner's signature. There will be a fee for transfer of title and registration. You'll need to make an appointment to come in to see us at www.BookMyTaxTime.com.
Your license or I'd, the title and insurance depending on the vehicle. If it's a car or truck you definitely need insurance first. Motorcycle you probably don't need insurance unless you're a kid or the bike is finance. If you don't have a title they'll help you get a new one for a fee of course. Don't forget to go online and make an appointment. If you bought your vehicle out of state you'll need the receipt and have to pay taxes too. Hope this helps.
You will need to make an appointment, and check FLHSMV's page on CDLs before coming in for more information: https://www.flhsmv.gov/driver-licenses-id-cards/commercial-motor-vehicle-drivers/commercial-driver-license/
http://www.tcslc.com/DocumentCenter/View/140/REAL-Identification-Card-Checklist-PDF
Call the FLORIDA DMY
Bring both Your driver's license and your registration notice with you.
They should of sent you a confirmation email after you made your appt. It would have it listed on there. Hope that helps!
Visit www.tcslc.com/219/vehicles and click on the link under New to Florida.
Yes. Everything is through appt right now. Log into their website to pick a date and time available! Hope that helps
If you're ordering your ID online, it will be mailed from FLHSMV in Tallahassee. If you make an appointment online and come into one of our offices, you will get it the same day. The cost depends on whether it's a new ID or a replacement.
We are happy to help you resolve your issue, but you'll need to make an appointment for any service with our office. You can do so by going to www.tcslc.com and clicking on "make an appointment."
Yes you can - you'll need to make an appointment (which you can do on our website: www.tcslc.com) and come into one of our locations to request a 60-day extension.
Not sure. Saynomore!
As long as you have paid the ticket and satisfied any requirements you can get your license.
Yes - you just need to make an appointment online at https://www.tcslc.com/241/Make-an-Appointment
We operate by appointment each day from 9a-2p (you can make one by going to www.tcslc.com and clicking on "make an appointment") and we accept walk-ins each day from 2:30 - 5p.
Now only St. Lucie County residents. They are checking licenses
We only do appointments for road tests - all other transactions are done on a walk-in basis. You can renew your license at any of our three locations - we are open Mon - Thu from 8a-6p.
In many instances, yes. Simply go to https://services.flhsmv.gov/VirtualOffice/ and input your information. There are times when you will have to come into our office (the state only allows you to renew online a certain number of times before you have to come in person to do it).
Yes you can. But before you head our way, check on the top right corner and see if you have a yellow star. If not, you'll want to review what you'll need to bring in to become Real ID compliant. We have a checklist online to make it easier: http://www.tcslc.com/DocumentCenter/View/140/REAL-Identification-Card-Checklist-PDF
You will need two proofs of residence, including but not limited to real estate tax bill, utility bill, vehicle registration, or any bill or notice with your name and residential address on it. If you do not have the gold star in the upper right hand corner of your license, you will also need the items required for the Real Id act. That list is located here: https://www.flhsmv.gov/driver-licenses-id-cards/what-to-bring/
Yes she does.
You have three options for a duplicate. You can come in person for three dollars, call into the contact center an we can either mail, fax or email it to you for $5.50 and lastly, you can use gorenew.gov and replace online for $6.25. Hope this helps!
Unfortunately, you would need to come in person to purchase the custom plate, and you will need to sign a replacement form in order to receive the plate. The cost will be approximately $70.00 to replace the plate. Hope this helps!
We offer road tests at our Fort Pierce and Tradition locations. You can make an appointment online by going to https://services.flhsmv.gov/Oasis/MakeAnAppointment.aspx Hope this helps!
If you mean transferring from another state to Florida, yes
Yes...however if you have the same address you will get something in the mail...pay online and they will send it.
You can renew your license online by going to https://services.flhsmv.gov/VirtualOffice/ Hope this helps...
Yes! It can be accessed by going to: https://stlucie.county-taxes.com/btexpress Take care...
Call DMV...it depends on your type of vehicle make, model, year and vehicle weight.
No appt needed for either.
Don't know you're going to have to go there ,n All I know is that they honor other states laws they share information so they can maximize there profits very corrupt DMV is they need to keep certain sheep broke so they have the upper hand
No
Sorry, it's been a long minute since I took the test so I can't help you, but Good Luck!
There are a couple driver's education programs out there. Google for one near you. They provide the car.
You can find information on what is required to obtain a handicap placard on our website here: http://www.tcslc.com/218/Handicap-Placards Hope this helps...
No, Mon. thru Fri. Only.
I'm not sure of the cost for a new ID? But you can keep your out of State license. Call them directly on Tuesday if no one else knows the cost.
Yes, to get it. But the Permit "test" is on-line.
Yes, you can.
This is a question for the St. Lucie County Property Appraiser's office, as they handle Homestead Exemptions. You can reach them by calling 772-462-1000. Have a great day...
This is a question and answer forum through Google. The DMV does NOT monitor these questions.
$ 400 business
Yes
Price varies depending on the state, if it's NY $400
No, I had to go in because you need to continue to supply a Doctor's note! But NO charge!
I'm not sure on that? If no one else knows the answer may I suggest trying it to see if it goes through?
Thank you for your question, Steven. We have the certificate of occupancy from the City of Port St. Lucie and have everything ready on our end to open. The hold up at this point is that we're waiting on AT&T to provide the service we need to run our systems. As soon as that happens, we'll be open and ready to serve our neighbors! Watch our website and social media channels for updates on the status of the new office.
No, Mon - Fri (5 day's) less if a National Holiday lands on a weekday also!
He's going to have to have 2 letters of proof of address, but since he's 18 and (probably still living at home), call them and explain the situation. If he's living outside the home (on his own) he's going to need the above info.
Proof of residency, birth certificate, your current license. I forgot how much to change over
You file for homestead with the St. Lucie County Property Appraiser’s Office. www.paslc.org
No, it's all done on the computer
All i know is Florida is honoring New Jersey rules without having the rule themselves, and my number is all new now
I don't think so.
You need 2 Bill's that have your name on them in Fl. (its proof of address and residency) and your Georgia DL or ID. If you don't have GA Driver's license you'll need your Birth Cert..
Remis, It's possible but most of time they just put a lien on your car but after that takes affect and they don't pay it, they go after your license, rare but possible. Remis, the answer I gave is from a friend that's a tow truck driver this is (not) directly from the DMV. I/others are Google local guide's that answer questions about businesses we are familiar with, good luck!
After 52 days you can put a lien on it after that if not recovered by owner the car becomes yours.
I just went through this. There are two different types of titles available, one is an electronic title and it's like $10, then there's the paper title which is the one I needed and that cost me $87! I can't remember why I wasn't eligible for the electronic one but all you need is your DL and registration.
You need your old plate, driver's license, and registration. (And a screw driver, lol)
YES, but not long it's a different window than the rest.
Can a statement from the bank be used as one of the proof of address?
You can call first to make sure you have necessary documents to get your new license, then go in person.
Yes turn in your plate as soon as possible. And after that you can also cancel your Ins. on your car as well (depending if you don't plan on getting your car back). Both of those things will save you money! Good luck
It depends, are you looking for a "Driver's license" or a "State ID"? I'm not familiar with what is needed though. Your better off calling directly.
I don't think so, it has to do with potential identity theft. You have to present it in person.
You would need to contact the St. Lucie County Clerk of the Circuit Court - they record all liens and would have that information. Take care...
The DMV needs to see your Ohio license, your Passport or Birth Certificate, your Social Security Card, and two Proofs of Address. The mail may be in your boyfriend's name. They will accept it.
Honestly I'm really not sure but for a DL you need 2 bill's or rent/mortgage receipts in your name and I want to say a birth certificate? But just in case I have this incorrect, call them Monday morning and ask.
No. Bring your current driver's license and proof of Florida Insurance. You will also need to get a VIN Check completed by local law enforcement if the car is titled from another state.
You may come into a Tax Collector's Office and have the title printed out for $ 10.00. Just present your ID to validate the title in your name.
Yes, but if you decide to use a debit card they charge you a percentage!
I'm not sure? You can call and I'm sure they can help. We are not the DMV, we/I'm a local guide that answer's questions about businesses that were familiar with.
Yes! Cash, Check, Credit or Debt Card. Certified Funds for any Deliquent amounts.
I believe it (2) bill's with your name on them - Rent/Mortgage, FPL, ect.
Are you real ID Compliance? If your licence has a 🌟 next to the number then you need nothing. Unless your address has changed then you need proof of address. If no 🌟 then you need birth certificate 2 forms of mail. SS card.
I'm sorry I don't read or speak Spanish
If your referring to your Driver's license then that would be a no because (within 10 day's) of change of address it MUST appear on your DL. If you were to be pulled over you could be issued a ticket for not changing it.
You can make an appointment online at www.tcslc.com by clicking on "make an appointment." We now operate by appointment only each day from 9a-2p, and we accept walk-ins from 2:30 - 5p (with drivers license transactions ending at 4:30p).
It depends, if you have a "gold star" in the corner of your DL then all you have to do is go down and pay a small fee to renew. If there isn't a gold star then (I think) your going to need a few different Bill's that are in your name with your street address and possibly your birth certificate? To be absolutely certain please call the DMV and they can tell you exactly what's needed. P.S. - We don't work for the DMV were only local guide's that answer questions about businesses that were familiar with.
You will need your birth certificate, proof of address and your ID or driver's license
At the DMV 1664 SE Walton Rd, port saint lucie Florida 34952
They only open Monday through Friday
I got a permenent placard on the spot after showing the Doctor's application filled out, it's good for 4 years no charge.
You just have to go down to the DMV and renew it, no appt. needed. Best time to go is either first thing in the AM or just before they close (4:30 pm).
I'm not sure, but your best bet would be to look up the DMV Web site and see if they offer that. If you can't find it there I recommend to call them directly with your inquiry.
You can - just go to https://services.flhsmv.gov/VirtualOffice/ Hope this helps!

Testing at Local DMV office To take the DMV test at your local DMV office it is best to use the Florida DMV online appointment system and make an appointment. You should arrive at least 15 minuts before your appointment and be prepared to spend at least two hours at the DMV office.
