Tim Perenich and Jackie were kind, compassionate, understanding among other wonderful things in an extremely rough time. If you are looking for a law firm that actually cares about what is going on in your life and how to help you navigate through some legal mumbo jumbo that comes along with it, Perenich Law Firm is the firm to use! The other "big box" firms just don't have the personal touch that the Perenich Law Firm offers. They respond to your questions quickly and treat you with the upmost respect. AND you actually get to look at and meet the person(s) working on your case. Not just a telephone call or email from an unknown person in another town you never met like other "big box" firms practice. I highly recommend Perenich Law Firm! They get the job done and do so in a most efficient, professional and courteous manner. Use Perenich Law Firm - they won't do you wrong!

It all began with a commercial van running into the back of my stopped vehicle, pushing it into a SUV stopped in front of me. Other than shock, I did not immediately feel hurt but as the days went by, I began to have pains in several areas and stiffness generally. In a couple of weeks, the pains were such that I sought more in depth medical attention than just the check up I had a few days after the accident. Soon I was on pain meds and seeing a couple of doctors. The Ortho MD, after several tests said I had some serious injuries, needed treatments, physical therapy, and likely needed at least some injections in my back and was definitely a candidate for back surgery. I had to curtail most of my physical activities like golf and tennis and my sailboat was idle for all that first year. Some days, just getting out of bed and moving around was a painful ordeal. I also found out that dealing with medical , treatment , and medication bills was a very difficult process in the state of Florida. Someone said I should seek legal assistance. An attorney friend recommended Greg Perenich and it was some of the best advice I have ever received. I knew next to nothing about "injury law" and actually walked into our first meeting with some skepticism. I walked out very educated about the process, very relieved to have someone hear me out and explain the alternatives to my wife and I, and very confident Greg and his associates would do all they could to help me through the legal, medical and financial issues ahead. I did have two injections in my back and both provided some relief but did not end the problems I was having. I resisted surgery unless and until there was not other alternative. I finally started to feel some improvement in the second year and started to at least try to return to more normal activities. I found I could work around some of the pain if I was very careful to stay within my limits but this situation was very frustrating for me. Today, over two years later, I still have some residual issues but they are of a nature I can deal with if I am cautious. All of this time I was in contact with Greg or his assistants who updated me regularly with his activities on my behalf. If I had a question, all I had to do was send an e-mail or call in and I was always given a timely and satisfying audience. In the end, all of my medical bills and legal costs along with a reasonable damages settlement was professionally obtained by Greg and I am forever his admirer. If you ever have the misfortune of being injured due to the carelessness of another, consider calling Greg Perenich..

Terence Perenich and his staff were extremely good to work with. They kept me up to date and guided me through a complicated process with medical providers and insurance companies. The outcome was a negotiated settlement in which we were satisfied. I would strongly recommend this firm as they kept my best interests, both physically and financially at the forefront throughout the entire process.

You want to find an attorney who has years of experience handling these kinds of cases and who’s not afraid to take a case to trial. There are a lot of attorneys out there. Some billboards are plastered with faces of attorneys and there are radio ads and TV ads for them, but a lot of advertisement does not reflect the quality of an attorney. This is perhaps the most important decision that you can make because it determines the absolute outcome of the case. Look to the attorney’s qualifications, experience, and their willingness to take the case all the way to trial.
I’ve been asked, “Is it okay to give a recorded statement to the insurance company?” The answer is unequivocally no. Do not engage in a dialogue with the insurance company. The insurance company has one goal, and that is to settle the claim with the least amount of effort and money. Some of them will send investigators right to the scene with a check in hand to offer to the client. Don’t take that money and don’t communicate with the insurance company. It’s better that you contact an attorney first so that we can talk about your case, and we will assist in a discussion with the insurance company to protect your interests.
Sometimes the reason why clients call us is because they realize that they’re going to be faced with medical bills that they didn’t plan for and they’re concerned about that. We prosecute these claims in the Tampa Bay area. We will recover the payment of medical bills from the at-fault driver’s insurance company. That can be a lot of different things. It can be even with one’s own insurance company through uninsured motorist coverage. Under no circumstances will we ever give up on making sure that our client’s medical bills are properly paid for by the responsible party. That means that our clients should not worry about the medical bills, and they should focus on getting better and taking care of themselves and their family through this difficult time. Let us worry about getting your medical bills paid for.
When I meet with new clients, I am frequently asked how much an automobile accident injury claim is worth. When we look at that, we’re not going to have a complete understanding when we meet with the client at the very beginning of the case. What I would tell you if you were asking me that question is we’re going to need to know the extent of your injuries. We’re going to need to know if those injuries are of a permanent nature. Is there a mental anguish or phycological component to those injuries where there’s mental suffering because of that? Sometimes that’s something that happens when a person has physical injuries.
You may be wondering, “What are the main steps that we need to undertake to be able to pursue this claim successfully?” You need to get good medical care and treatment for your injuries. Not just for your case but because you need to know that your health is way more important than your wealth. We want to make sure that you are getting good medical care and treatment by the very best medical professionals in the community here. We’re going to be discussing that with you to make sure that indeed you are getting that medical care and treatment, and you’re following a plan of care.
People often ask how a bicycle claim is different than a car accident. It’s an interesting question because, on the one hand, there are certain similarities that a bicycle claim has to a car accident case. There’s a four-year statute of limitations. We still have the same burden of proving negligence. It’s also different because, in Florida, motor vehicles have a reasonability to watch out for pedestrians and bicyclists. It’s really important that you talk to an experienced trial attorney who can take on the case, gather the evidence, and properly prosecute the claim.
You may be asking yourself, “How do I know if I’ve selected the absolute best car accident attorney?” You should look at the person’s web page, check out their experience, and their history. Someone who comes right out of law school may or may not appreciate all the nuances that are involved in a car accident case. Some attorneys may spend a lot of money advertising on radio, television, or billboards. That does not make them the best attorney. We take special pride in how much we care about our clients. We want to help them in the best way possible. We aggressively approach the case, not just in terms of collecting evidence, but also in terms of our discussions with the adjusters and our presentation of the case at trial.
