So animal control have been out to the house next door for dogs running free and eating livestock. These dogs are not only still running free but they are jumping on the side of my truck trying to get to my dog. They are aware of this from there last visit because they thought it was my dogs doing the damage. now I try to reach out to them because it happened again today and guess what. no answer. call during regular business hours. now the female has 3 new puppies at the road.

We recently adopted a fur baby from this shelter during clear the shelter event. It was an amazing experience and all of the staff was very kind and you can tell they love the animals. That was very heartwarming. We ended up with “the one” that was meant for our family.

I found the 2 cutest kittens I've ever seen. I called ahead and the attendant was there to except them with open arms.

Hi. Is he housebroken? Is he good with other dogs?
Call and speak to them or look a rescue
Depending on where you live, it may need to start with a noise complaint to the PD, etc, then they will advise when to get AC involved.
My understanding is they are full, so too many but if you need a number 30+
Yes they will give vaccinations, at the cost of adopter, some are fixed, but if not that is also at the cost of adopter and an appointment must be made with a vet at time of adoption. They will also heart worm test as well, again at cost of adoptor.
Dogs are $55 and cats are $45
Yes they do
The County offices have been closed for the holidays, they will reopen on Thursday after New Years. Animal Control will reopen on Wednesday.

Harnett County Animal Shelter will take cats if they have cages available. If they don't they will place you on a call (or waiting) list and as soon as they adopt out or some of the cat rescue or foster groups come in and a cage becomes available they will call you to bring him in.
Negitive finally got ahold of them and its every 5 days
