I brought my Subaru in for it's regular service & received the welcome, friendliness, & helpfulness that I had anticipated but never received at the Subaru dealership (about an hour away) where I had originally purchased my Forester Sport from last year. Feeling happy to be part of the Subaru family, and having no problems purchasing such a great model, I was dismayed by the lack of warmth, welcome, etc I saw in all the staff and service dept. JOHN KENNEDY SUBARU immediately exceeded all those expectations and restored my joy of being in the Subaru family! I will now be part of the John Kennedy Subaru family! Service dept , parts dept, both were fantastic! An extra special thanks to ALICIA PENDER who took time out to explain everything I could never figure out about my Forester this past year of ownership. Even though she was not my salesperson, she didn't hesitate to spend the time that the other Subaru dealership wouldn't. Thank you!

BJ, We apologize if you felt we were unfriendly however your appointment was made for a recall only but when you arrived, you asked to have us do 6 other services. Those services are what took the extra time.
As directed by the CDC and the State of Pennsylvania, all guests must wear face masks, and we are following social distancing policies. Throughout the dealership, we have sanitizer stations, barriers that separate employee and customer interaction, and handling sales and service remotely if desired.

Hello! You can actually do this on your own. Got to https://www.subaru.com/owners/index.html?navigation=true and have your VIN ready. That will allow you to download the most recent update. You then will have to copy that file onto a SD Card (Not thumbdrive unfortunately). Your radio should have a SD Card insert that has a rubber cover that hinges open. Insert the SD Card into the radio and the update will start.
