Bill replaced rollers on our huge patio doors. He was a pleasure to deal with and gave advice along the way to save money on another issue we are having. I will definitely use and recommend Glass Doctor of Kop in the future.

This company will NOT disappoint! Here are the before and after pics of the beautiful work Daniel and his team did! This company was such a pleasure to work with, I honestly wish I had more work to give them. Always prompt, great communication, and excellent workmanship. I have no problem giving good praise when it’s due - and with this company, it is! We met the owner at the Philly Home Show. Yes, the owner was there himself. He gave us a rough estimate right there on the spot. He was able to have his lead technician come out and give us a real estimate that same week - which by the way, ended up being comparable to the original estimate after all was said and done. We booked with them and had our new, gorgeous shower enclosure installed just weeks later! I’m so impressed with how it came out and highly recommend Glass Doctor of KOP!

We used Glass Doctor of King of Prussia to replace a badly damaged shower recently. We liked the experience and would recommend Glass Doctor of King of Prussia to friends. They were highly skilled and did the inspection, recommendation, order and installation on the timetable and at the price they said they would. The door as installed was not cheap, but often you get what you pay for, and Glass Doctor of King of Prussia delivers on what they say they'll do.

Questions & Answers

Can you buff scratches out of auto glass?

Glass Doctor of King of Prussia, PA | May 31, 2022
Glass Doctor of King of Prussia, PA | May 31, 2022

Scratch removal in auto glass is not a commercially viable solution to the retail market. Basically, it is labor-intensive and not always successful. If the customer is not satisfied with the result, they are understandably not willing to pay for the time and materials invested by the glass company. Scratch removal and scratch buffing systems exist; however, they are typically only practical in warehouses, industrial, and larger commercial glass projects. Please call our Glass Doctor office if you would like a more detailed explanation.

How long after my windshield gets replaced can I drive away?

Currently, most Glass Doctor locations use urethane with a one-hour safe drive-away time from when the new windshield gets set. No need for blue tape or any holds on washing your car. You are fully protected at the 60-minute mark. Please be sure to check with your local Glass Doctor to ensure the type of urethane being used.

For auto glass, we have the best guarantee in the nation upon installing a new windshield. If you choose our Windshield Protection Plan, you’ll have coverage for a full 12 months. Should you get a rock chip in your new windshield, Glass Doctor will repair it at no cost to you. Our Windshield Protection Plan covers all rock chips received in the first 12 months — no limit. Should you receive damage that is not repairable such as a long crack or significant damage in the driver’s view area, we will replace the windshield at no cost to you for the glass material. Depending upon the type of coverage you purchase at the time of original install, you may be responsible for the cost of labor, adhesive, and moldings.

Can you cut tempered glass?

Glass Doctor of King of Prussia, PA | May 31, 2022
Glass Doctor of King of Prussia, PA | May 31, 2022

Unfortunately, tempered safety glass, by design, cannot be cut. It is designed to break into small pieces when cut or broken to reduce the risk of significant injuries to the person breaking it. Using safety glass, of which “tempered” is one type, is mandated by state building codes in specific applications like doors, sidelights, showers, etc. Please call Glass Doctor if you want more information on this topic.

Do you replace sliding door rollers?

Yes! We do replace rollers if needed. Of course, we try to clean the tracks and rollers and adjust first. If that does not work, we will discuss replacing the rollers for you.
