This is the best place to rent from. I mean they are transparent with everything. What you see on the ad is what you get a very NICE apartment. They also have rent deposit assistance to help you pay your security deposit. Thank you Gisselle and Marlene you both are such beautiful people. Keep up the great work 👍

Horrible experience. My daughter moved in and we stayed with her to help with move in. From day one, problems in evening with neighboring tenants were loud, partying, fighting. Lots of traffic flow with different people coming and going all night, not sure if drugs were being sold. We were not able to sleep. We didn’t call police because of the violence we saw and were afraid to do so. We moved my daughter out 1 week later. Management were nice however our reasons for leaving weren’t taken into consideration and we lost money due to breaking lease. Pictures of property are not realistic. Trash and clothes everywhere. I do not recommend this place at all!

Right now raising rent higher than anyone else in the area and charging more for water sewage and trash then any previous property management company before... Have lived here 5 years and I can't believe this is how paying tenants are treated. FYI I already contacted corporate

May 8th 2018 I Signed lease with old property landlord, previously named Torrey Lane Apartments. I am referring to myself as tenant in this review. May 9th 2019 Stout Management began managing property. 12/14/19 - Tenant put a work order in for caving ceiling to be fixed. 01/06/20 - Leasing agent threatened to evict teanant due to being unruly when she requested the caving ceiling to be fixed. 01/10/20 - Tenant sent a complaint to stout management corporate office regarding disorderly conduct and re-requested ceiling to be tended 02/01/20 - Rent was accepted without drama. 03/03/20 - Ceiling was dismissed by maintenance man, Tenant was instructed to show him what was wrong when she further complained. tenant pressed on the soft ceiling and it caved immediately. 03/19/20 - Tenant notified she would withhold rent due to uninhabitable living conditions. Tenant requested black mold testing. 03/23/20 - Ceiling repair was scheduled for 03/24/20. Stout no-call no-showed the appointment. Tenant requested black mold testing again. 03/25/20 - Asbestos testing appointment. 3rd party confirms there is likely mold residue due to the black color in the ceiling. Tenant requested black mold testing again. 03/31/20 - Stout management representative makes up false allegations with dates and events that didn't occur. Accusations included that tenant willfully and maliciously harmed her own unit. 04/28/20 - 10 day notice to vacate was given. Tenant was asked to leave the unit with no other compensations, regardless of the work from home order. Given that black mold is most dangerous when released into the air, tenant refused due to multiple undue hardships. 05/12/20 - Landlord offers tenant new unit. After tenant refuses to relocate under undue hardship. 05/26/20 - Tenant accepts new unit under the terms that unit will be mold inspected and new lease drafted for 12 months (previously agreed). 05/27/20- Landlord follows up via email and tries to move electrical to new unit without tenants permission. ***Several attempts to transfer were made By the tenant, but landlord withheld mold inspection and lease renewal regardless of Previous agreement. 07/06/20 - Landlord fails to hold apartment within one week of allegedly receiving mold inspection results. Mold inspection never sent to tenant. 08/01/20 - Tenant relocates, and is in an ongoing legal battle with Stout Management Company due to the unlawful retaliation and liabilities pushed onto tenant. 08/15/20- landlord served tenant notice unit was abandoned, tenant replied same day in writing it was not, and recorded conversation with landlord that rep understood. He agreed. 08/16/20 - Landlord began mold remediation inside tenant unit while her non-essential belongings were present. Landlord destroyed tapestry on the wall and contamenated bed and beanbag. insurance claim was made against apartment 08/17/20 - Tenant invoiced landlord for all legal fees and deposits owed. Landlord has refused to respond. This experience has been expensive. This experience has been time consuming. This experience has utterly ridiculous. I do not recommend signing a contract with this business, as they do not seem familiar with tenant rights, or their legal responsibilities over their own property. Please understand I chose this complex because it was affordable, but with affordable housing comes free-range low income tenants, and why they need affordable housing to begin with can vary. I am a single musician, divorced, polite and recovering my credit from a lifetime of personal trauma. To be truthful, there is an honest and ongoing drug and crime problem in this area. Luckily my trained protection animal made me feel safe when those drug addicts wondered knocking on my front door (there have been about 5 or 6 as the guy in unit 12 is a seller.) Hope this is preventative to those who are tired of suffering unwanted treatment and unfairness. And to stout management personally... good luck gaining any value out of your property, when you don’t value your tenants.
