It's an amazing place to hike on the Cumberland Plateau. There's a relatively easy hike that will take you to a scenic overlook, or you can explore deeper into the backcountry for some amazing rock formations, a couple of natural arches, and even more great overlooks.

We were able to see the Milky Way and many constellations both at the astronomy field and at Pickett State Park. The area is an International Dark Sky Silver Tier location.
