Went on Mother’s Day and the wild flowers were incredible. Great bird sightings, too. It was lush and felt like a jungle. Not a hard hike, but took a long time because there was so much to look at and admire. Highly recommend.

Very nice pond overlook area. Saw small bird fishing. Also saw some turtles. Very nice and an easy hike.

I don't think so. It's a nature preserve and more of a swamp. You may be able to back at the Eagle Creek, though.
Bug spray is a must. No problems with snakes for myself as well. Note that the southern route has a bridge out currently.
