It’s almost like a forest on a mountain side tucked into a city. There’s this awesome staggered wall you can climb, 3 water pools (one of which you can walk into), one has a wall waterfall that feeds a pool that you aren’t supposed to swim in (there’s steps going into it but signs saying no wading and no swimming), and another that has multiple spray fountains (you don’t really want to be in that pool for sure). They have steps that walk around gardens and lawn features. Just a really neat city park in downtown Ft. Worth.

I would say if you are in the Dallas or fort worth area you should visit this place. The place is very simple and it has just steps where water is flowing from all the way top to bottom. One of the amazing thing is if you will go down to all the way bottom then the sound of water is amazing and one should not miss that for sure. There are some free parking nearby but not sure if it's always free but I would suggest to be ready on weekends as there are limited spots near by but as it's Texas so you will get parking eventually may be little far.

Such a wonderful water gardens had so much fun spending some time there seeing the water flow and enjoying the view of silent pool and just felt close to nature. It’s constructed in 1974 still looks so good. We can see Omni Hotel that looks stunning from the gardens.

The Fort Worth Water Gardens is an excellent feat of engineering. It was a very entertaining and beautiful place. A pleasurable experience and everyone who visits loves the aerated pool and the steps that go down all the way. It’s an all season and any time of the day experience. Anyone visiting the Fort Worth area must check it out. I would Highly recommend it!

Yes it is free parking meters are free after 6 pm Monday through Friday and free on weekends
Yes especially by the quiet pool area
Yes, anywhere. The great views are great for photos!
Plenty of places to sit and eat. However there are not a lot of tables. Bring a picnic blanket and you can sit and have a picnic just about anywhere.
Yes you can. Just as long as you do it the reservation ahead of time. At least 2 months in advance. To be safe than sorry
There are pay parking lots, yes
The parks are opened till 11 P.M. So the answer is no.
I guess the name "water gardens" is a little deceiving for those that don't know. No flowers, but it's beautiful none the less. As others have said, check out the botanical gardens for flowers. Their rose garden is especially beautiful!
City of fort worth
Its art. Not an actual wading or swimming pool. All exhibits in the park feature water.
I was just there last week and the water was flowing.
No idea. Im assuming at the bottom, probably a big tank, then starts again when on. Dont know though.
Its really fun to go see. I went recently and they had some of the water turned off. But its a nice place to sit and relax or for the kids to run around for a bit. However parking is atrocious. Good luck with that. Across the street is parking but usually full.
It's free. I doubt you'll want to spend more than 15-30 minutes there, though.
The gardens, for the most part, requires a person to be fully mobile as a majority of the park is only accessible by stairways. The only area that could be assessed for those with limited mobility would be the central courtyard that overlooks the parks' architecture. One would be able to see the attractions, but not interact with them.
No
It's free for public on all days. Plan for parking near this place.
Totally free, there is only no parking, you are parked on the street and there are parking meters
Metered parking, garages (ranging from $2-$20 depending on events) and some free after business hours
It's free to the public. And there are no japanese gardens next to it.
No. Just go there, but you will need to contend with other people there. Pick a time that will have low attendance.
I think so
Yes. I does go down for maintenance and is stop when the temperature is below freezing but other wise it is an open attraction
I don't know
Yes actually...my answer is also same......
You can use restroom inside conference center just next to the garden, it's so convinient and clean
On weekends, they shut it down at 10:30pm
You only have to pay the ticket if they catch you
Yes it does all year long.
I believe some parking is on site but if those are full you'll have to park elsewhere like maybe the convention center parking
Its a beautiful place and and its free!! I think its worth paying for parking.. I loved it...
Officially no, this is an art installation featuring water. That said, the aerating pool does see people in it from tune to time. It is officially forbidden, and I don't know whether security or police enforce the restrictions
No
There are 3 water pools, the active water pool, the quiet water pool, and the aerated water pool, there is also the big concreate mound called the mountain, and a grass area called the stage behind the mountain, the middle open area is called the central square, and finally a events plaza.
Some of the fountains are off during the winter, check b/f going
There are no railings. Some people are afraid to fall in and block the steps going down, but you get there eventually.
Yup, it's free evenings and weekends. Fort Worth is still awesome.
One of the water pools lights up and starts just before dark. Other than that honestly I wouldn't be down there after dark.
The water gardens is a free public place. You walk around and look at the water. You can sit down and listen/look at the flowing water.
YES on a leash. Clean up after your pet. Do not allow them to get in the water
They close at 10pm every day.
I'm predicting they have a timer for when the it comes on and turns off, I don't know the times, but they could have a system that regards to that.
