A good place to work

A joke. I was there two hours and left without a job. Edwin was pretty nice, but Curtis was rude without a care in the world. I was basically offered a $13/hr job in Boca and because I refused to drive 30 minutes North to work for the pay offered, there was nothing he could do. I spoke to David, Patrick and Maldonado as well. All except Maldonada promised to call back or refer me to another recruiter but never followed through. Maldonado was real cool and down to earth. The only person that respected my degree as my experience. I filed a complaint with corporate and I did receive some positive feedback from Karen in HR. Previously I spoke to a Tiffany in HR and she was rude and not helpful either. Needless to say 6 weeks later nothing available for my schedule and pay preference. Unless you are desperate, DO NOT waste your time with them.

Allied universal management SUCKS AND SO THE hiring process especially the twic card. why left folks with no job HANGING if a twic card process will take up to 30 days ? why not be up front with the applicants just tell them that the twic card will not be avaible so soon and they won't be able to start working until they have it . The black girl who was sitting with the recruiter was so aggressive she thinks that everyone wants to be a security guard for the rest of their life .she can keep that port Everglades post as the current guards there must be fed up with mosquitoes/ bugs bite etc... . It's not worth it ...

Most of the people were nice, some were putting in the minimum effort. The lady in charge of the clothing was incredibly rude and obviously didn't care about her job. Huge liability to the company and hiring process, walked away with a bitter taste after that encounter. 👎👎
