We rented a beach house and the house was dirty, old and dated. We reviewed the home 2 months ago and it wasn't posted! I guess that's why the house only had 1 review. They don't post negative ones

Office staff are very helpful and friendly. That is the only reason there are 2 stars. Housekeeping is awful. The place was dirty upon arrival. Then housekeeping came in one day we were out unannounced. We had all of our belongings out. I called the office and was told “it’s in the contract that maintenance or housekeeping can come in to address issues”. Thing is, I didn’t ask anyone to come in and clean. Then one of the housekeepers comes back and finds us on the beach, interrupting our day to ask us if all concerns were addressed. We said yes because we didn’t want to be bothered or have someone come back in the house, but the place was still filthy. They dusted the vents and let everything fall on the toilet seats and let it sit there. 0/5 Maintenance - I received a phone call from a maintenance worker saying they would be there that day to address my issue. The person I spoke with was pleasant. However, the worker they sent was rude and arrogant. He never fixed the stuck open window either and I never heard back from them. 1/5 We stayed at 76 E 1st St - do not rent this place. Roaches and dirty. Homeowner obviously only cares about making money off renting the property. Bare minimum to keep it “livable”. Harry Potter lives in better conditions under the stairs then you would there. -10/5 LOOK ELSEWHERE.

We were very disappointed with our last stay in ocean isle with Sloan realty. We stayed at the channelside condo (H22). We’ve stayed at other units without issue so this was disappointing. The front door kept getting stuck and eventually wouldn’t open at all using the keypad so we called maintenance. The worker they sent was incredibly rude and arrogant. He accused us of slamming the door!? We don’t slam our own doors nor anyone else’s. Then the refrigerator leaked onto the unit below and the dishwasher had no water going to it so that also had to be worked on. The pullout bed was disgusting. There were pretzels all in it and it had a yellow stain. There were bugs found downstairs also. If you want a condo with everything clean and in working order this definitely is not it. I sent a review specifically on the page for this condo and they won’t post it. Very disappointed and won’t be staying with them anymore.
