Giving my nurse tonight 5 stars she is amazing and doing everything in her power to make me comfortable while I wait this EXTREMELY long wait for my bed at New Hanover Hospital. Thank you so much Miss Jennifer you ROCK!! But for everything else its terrible feels like your waiting to die here while waiting for a bed at NHH all is they do is keep pumping you full of pain meds and tell you it could be several days before you are transferred!! I wont be stopping here again and suggest you don't either and you continue going to NHH!!

Felt like the staff didn’t care. Brought my baby in because we were concerned about her fever and rapid breathing. Waited 3 hours and left because our daughter was becoming hysterical and there was no update on how long it would be until we were seen. Never heard what her swab results were either. When we said we were leaving the nurse told us minimum wait time was 3 hours and none of the other Novant ERs had a wait. And said “well it looks like she is feeling better”.... how would you know if she was never seen by a doctor? It would have been nice to know the minimum wait time before we made our sick baby sit for 3 hours with no help.

Alot of pharmacies have a drop box you can access anytime.
There is only one building. Enter through the front entrance. There is a patient coordinator to help guide you to the correct department.
